1 Tony Gonzalez Anthony David Gonzalez is a former American football tight end who played 17 seasons in the National Football League.

Tony changed the Tight End position and arguably has the best hands in NFL history.. 14 times he played in the Pro Bowl. Member of the 2000s NFL All-Decade Team and Member of the NFL 100 All-Time Team. A Kansas City Chiefs Hall of Famer, a Member of the Pro Football Hall of Famer, 1,325 catches, the most ever for a tight end and 15,127 yards, the most for a tight end and truly the Greatest KC Chiefs player of all time and that's a SLAM DUNK!

2 Derrick Thomas

In the 80s, LT dominate pro football, then in 1989 it was DT's turn and as a rookie, he didn't let his Chiefs down as he had 10 sacks and played his first of 9 straight Pro Bowls and was named NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year. His career went beyond the numbers, as a kid his father was an Air Force Captain and b-52 pilot Robert James Thomas and died during a mission in the Vietnam War. Derrick during his NFL Career dedicated his career as a role model to his fans, his reward was being named NFL 1993 Man of the Year. DT, more than a player, he was a gentleman.

3 Len Dawson

In retirement, he was a great host for HBO's Inside the NFL, but before that he was a great commander for the Kansas City Chiefs. In 1964, in ONLY 14 games he threw for 30 touchdowns. 2 years earlier, he arrived to the Dallas Texans who we're to become the Chiefs in 1963 after not being wanted anymore by the Steelers and the Browns. Dawson made those teams pay by leading the AFL in touchdowns (29) and yards per attempt (8.9) and was named the AFL MVP by The Sporting News. He led the Texans to the AFL Championship win over the Houston Oilers in double overtime.
