Top Ten Kids Shows That Are Bad Examples for Kids

The Top Ten
1 Caillou Caillou is a Canadian educational children's television series that was first shown on Teletoon (both English and French versions), with its first episode airing on the former channel on September 15, 1997; the show later moved to Treehouse TV, with its final episode being shown on that channel on October 3, 2010. The show was animated in Canada by CINAR Corporation (later Cookie Jar Entertainment), In season 5, the show was animated by South African-based studio, Clockwork Zoo. The show, based on the books by Hélène Desputeaux, focuses on a four-year-old boy named Caillou who is fascinated by the world around him.

Call Austin & Ally or Jessie a bad example for kids? At least it doesn't teach you to throw tantrums and get your way for everything like THIS SHOW.
Where do I even start?
Caillou is a whiny spoiled brat who does nothing remarkable in his life but complain. Whenever there is a new problem, he throws a tantrum about it and always gets his way! He acts like such a baby! Just listen to the lyrics of his song! "I'm just a kid who's four, each day I grow some more!" But just looking at the way he's acting throughout the series, he IS growing. Yes, growing into a little monster!
Caillou is a little kid, but he just takes it to a whole new level to the point where he takes it out on his little sister, like what the actual hell is wrong with this stupid kid?
Caillou must've came straight from the pits of HELL! I'm not joking right now, that's what I think! He whines almost all the freaking time! I swear, if I were in his Mom's shoes I would give his butt a good spanking till it ...more

I have never seen it and I don't want to. And I don't do conspiracy theories, but here's one thing that I made up that a person could take as a conspiracy theory.: Maybe Dora and Calliou are the same being only they're different avatars of the same evil force even more evil than anything else ever, real or fake, and they have more avatars of whiny T.V. brats that are dedicated to brainwashing little kids and even some parents and for those of us who aren't brainwashed will be or already are subjected to their evil torture. Then one day the evil force will take over all of existence and destroy it and then make it into their own place of terror. At least that could be their ultimate goal.
Like I said it's all some little story that I made up, it's not meant to be taken seriously, though anyone has the right to make it a conspiracy theory.

Oh my god.. All this brat does is whine, throw fits, be annoying, and be spoiled! (And so much more..) Fact, even as a KID I hated him. Every time the show came on, I would change it as fast as a could. Heck, TONS of kids have changed because of him. Some kids can go from sweet little angels to devils, which Caillou is. This show is horrible and teaches kids negative things. I'm surprised it's still going on... This "little angel" teaches kids to whine, throw fits, torture people, get anything you want, etc. Honestly, this show should just rot in a hole. This is horrible.

This show teaches kids to whine and to do tantrums to get in their ways. Even in the smallest things like not getting a cookie. You know what, if you're want an educational show for kids, I will not recommend this show for your kids cause it teaches you to get something in your way, all you do is whine and make tamtrums like a baby so that you something in your way. So, do not watch this show its annoys and painful to watch

2 Jessie Jessie is an American sitcom that originally aired on Disney Channel from September 30, 2011 to October 16, 2015. The series was created and executive produced by Pamela Eells O'Connell and stars Debby Ryan as Jessie Prescott, a small town Texas girl who moves to New York City to try to become an actress, but instead she becomes a nanny to a high-profile couple's four children: Emma Ross (Peyton List),... read more

Your kids will not know what hit them! Or what T.V Show they just watched! Because your kids will become spoiled Brats for life thanks to this Stupid Atrocious Show!

It teaches kids that blonde people are dumb, boys are gross, smart people should be made fun of, and that black people are sassy.

I saw an episode where it showed the kids' parents making out on the elevator. Not something I want my kids to see!

3 Dora the Explorer Dora the Explorer (2000 - 2019) is an American preschool educational animated TV series created by Chris Gifford, Valerie Walsh, and Eric Weiner in which Dora goes on adventures with her friend, a monkey named Boots.

Dora is a perfect example of these irritatingly cheerful educational title characters. I cannot stand her smarmy personality and I cannot stand her when she speaks. This show is a total train wreck for a number of reasons aside from her annoying personality. It is hard to watch this sore excuse of a show and having her talk to the viewer is annoying. Blue's Clues is better. Dora is not funny nor is she educatinonal. There is nothing good about Dora. Nothing! You cannot tell me differently! If people like Dora, I do not mind that.

This show is dumb! I mean Dora is fat and deaf, the forest is there idiot. It teaches kids that you can run off into places you don't know by yourself without your parents permission. That is so dumb and weak I mean what if you get killed or something else bad happened. It also teaches you to stay away from a dangerous animal, all you do is say "Swiper no swiping" and then the animal goes away. That not how to stay away from a dangerous animal idiot! So dumb and bad to teach to little kids.

4 Breadwinners Breadwinners is an American animated television series created by Gary "Doodles" DiRaffaele and Steve Borst for Nickelodeon.

The series was originally conceived as an animated short from DiRaffaele's efficiency apartment in Studio City, Los Angeles along with Borst. The two had previously met in Burbank while working on an animated series, Mad, in 2012. Originally a one-off, Breadwinners premiered... read more

Teaches you that if you are a main character, you can do anything, even hurt others!

How a kids show that involves twerking and butts got past through Nickelodeon I will never understand...

I'm convinced that Nick was inspired by Teen Titans Go on CN to turn the original video into a series.

5 Barney and Friends Barney & Friends is an American children's television series aimed at children from ages 1 to 8, created by Sheryl Leach and produced by HIT Entertainment. It premiered on PBS on April 6, 1992. The series features the title character Barney, a purple anthropomorphic tyrannosaurus rex who conveys educational messages through songs and small dance routines with a friendly, optimistic attitude. Despite the show being popular with kids, the University of Chicago professor W. J. T. Mitchell's book The Last Dinosaur Book: The Life and Times of a Cultural Icon, he notes that the program is often a target for parody and negative attacks by children of various ages, adolescents, and adults in the United ...read more.

Bad example for kids. Instead of Barney and friends, it's fatty and losers I hate you you hate me lets get together kill barney with a sword and a knife and an m64 no more purple dinosaur. This show will give you nightmares because once I watched for a minute and then I had nightmares about being forced to watch it.

I hope Barney becomes the antagonist along with his friends. Through my imagination world, Barney is an antagonist for Leo, Ren, Billy, Abdul, Rocketman and Kim the cow.

This show is about an annoying purple thing with an incredibly annoying way of entertaining fans. (Wait a minute.. This show doesn't have any. My mistake! )

Grr... Dummy and Friends. I hate you, you hate me. We're a rude enemies, with a great big slice. I give you a slicing a machine. What I say you hate me, too.

6 Sanjay and Craig Sanjay and Craig is an American animated comedy television series that aired on Nickelodeon from May 25, 2013, to July 29, 2016, for three seasons and 60 episodes. The series is about a 12-year-old boy named Sanjay Patel who owns a talking pet snake named Craig.

It has too much toilet and body humor that it doesn't have any other type of humor. I don't like it and Breadwinners is worse and I haven't even bothered seeing it yet and I already know it's stupid. Also I don't get Calliou on my T.V., yay!

Full of fart jokes and butt stuff.

There's a "fart baby" episode, an episode about trying to make someone throw up, and an episode about "knee flaps" or something like that. Yuk.

Who ever came up with this should be forced to be responsible for Queen Victoria's death.

This show is for adults. It should be rated T.V.-14 and aired on MTV.

7 Austin and Ally Austin & Ally is an American teen sitcom that premiered on Disney Channel on December 2, 2011, and ended on January 10, 2016. The series was created by Kevin Kopelow & Heath Seifert, the writers and producers of the Disney Channel sitcoms Sonny with a Chance and Jonas.

I hate this show there's no point of this show!

This is why me don't like Disney anymore.

Good thing it ended two nights ago.

8 Teletubbies Teletubbies is a British pre-school children's television series created by Ragdoll Productions' Anne Wood CBE and Andrew Davenport, who wrote each of the show's 365 episodes. It is owned by Canadian Studio WildBrain, which is the largest independent Children's and Adolescent's Film Studio

Teletubbies was my childhood show but I have an idea for killing this Teletubbies because they're dangerous aliens from planet Tubby that come to this planet Earth.

My sister liked it when she was little and she's doing fine. However I don't know much about Teletubbies, but they look weird.

This is the worst show ever and the Teletubbies talk gibberish and don't get me started with Tinky Winky he carries a purse.

My brother said his first word when watching this. He pointed to the T.V. screen and said "Lala". I don't know if that counts as a word or not! Haha!

9 I Didn't Do It I Didn't Do It is an American teen sitcom that premiered on Disney Channel on January 17, 2014, and ended on October 16, 2015. The series was created by Tod Himmel and Josh Silverstein and stars Olivia Holt, Austin North, Piper Curda, Peyton Clark, and Sarah Gilman.

The show is kinda racist because of the main characters.

Doesn't teach kids anything.

More like no! I didn't stole your guns

10 Adventure Time Adventure Time is an American animated television series created by Pendleton Ward for Cartoon Network. The series follows the adventures of a boy named Finn (voiced by Jeremy Shada) and his best friend and adoptive brother Jake (voiced by John DiMaggio)—a dog with the magical power to change shape and size at will. Finn and Jake live in the post-apocalyptic Land of Ooo. Throughout the show, they... read more

When I first saw the previews for this show my first thought was "what were they smoking when they made this?"

Whoever put this show here is a COMPLETE RETARD. AT does NOT deserve to be here. It's a great show despite that Season 1 was a slower pace. Parents should be cautioned by Season 8 since that season was made for teens/adults (I think)

Like it's the worst show for kids.

The Contenders
11 Teen Titans Go! 'Teen Titans Go!' is an American animated television series produced by Cartoon Network. The show follows a superhero group called the Teen Titans, and shows what happens when they go home and have silly adventures. This show is Cartoon Network's revival of the popular 2003-2006 American animated television show, 'Teen Titans'.

This should be way higher. While I'll still watch it, even if I don't enjoy it. However, even I can admit, and I literally like everything (name any modern Cartoon Network, Nickolodeon, or Disney Channel show. I will say I like it), but even I can admit, this show will turn your children into messy, selfish criminals. Eric Cartman from South Park and even Hitler are better influences than these intergalactic super villains that are trying to expand their army by teaching innocent children their ways when they don't even know it. Please don't let the evil team that claim to be superheroes called the Teen Titans let you children be apart of their army. Stay away from Toddler Titans No. if you know what's good for you

Dumb dumb dumb! My little sister likes this idiotic show. Robin's friends cyborg beast boy and Starfire are dumb ass! They only make life worst for robin. Robin is accutly one of my worst characters because he has such an annoying voice. Also Starfire is dumber than a turkey. Starfire has such a pointless pet. Cyborg and beast boy are even dumber than Starfire. It's a rip off Teen titans. Well at least raven is not bad.

12 Team Umizoomi Team Umizoomi is an American computer-animated musical children's television series with an emphasis on preschool mathematical concepts, such as counting, sequences, shapes, patterns, measurements, and comparisons.

Worst superheroes ever! I'm not sure if they have the right to be called that! It will make kids think " oh no! I lost my bike! Time to sit back and let these guys find it! "

Very bad show. They get calls about stupid things and apparently a little girl not having her favorite book at her grandpa's house is horrible.P. S awful acting

They teach that if there's no milk, you can't have breakfast.
However, I'll teach kids to have breakfast without milk.

13 Peppa Pig Peppa Pig is a British preschool animated television series directed and produced by Astley Baker Davies in association with Entertainment One, which originally aired on 31 May 2004. It went on a hiatus for just over two years before re-premiering on 14 February 2015.

It teaches good lessons in other good children's animation, but for this show?
Oh nononono! It teaches how to be bossy in front of a parent/s, being rude to friends.
How does Dora was in number 2?
Dora is my childhood show despite being deaf and blind.
While Peppa Pig has no plots with Ms paint-like graphics.
And to you John Sparks (the narrator), not everyone likes something that most people does'nt like. GO HOME NARRATOR, your'e drunk!

Peppa Pig doesn't really teach anyone anything, unless you count acting like Peppa or George to be a lesson. Not to mention, the animation is mediocre at BEST, the voice acting is annoying, and dear god the anatomy! And let us not forget how the show is "sweet", and just, it's dumbed down to an extent that it's unbearable to watch!

Oh it's only mud. With worms and maybe bacteria and parasites, plus your only wearing your brand new sneakers, plus when they did "all the countries in peace and harmony, That fools kids into thinking there is nothing really wrong with the world. Blah

I remember when Momo hackers used these videos to troll little kids. That aside this show doesn't really teach much from the episodes I've seen. It's not necessarily a bad show, but not really a good one either.

14 iCarly iCarly is an American teen sitcom that ran on Nickelodeon from September 8, 2007 until November 23, 2012. The series, created by Dan Schneider, focuses on teenager Carly Shay, who creates her own web show called iCarly with her best friends Sam Puckett and Freddie Benson.

This show should be WAY higher. It makes kids think it's really easy to be a huge star, there is a lot of sexual innuendo, and there seems to be a lot of racism too. Most of the characters who aren't caucasian are treated as unusual.

There is a one direction episode were a member is sick and a character from the show has intentions with him, which I think shouldn't be in the show.

This show is about sexual innuendo mixed with bad lessons and stereotypical jokes.

Teaches how to be the worst student on high school.

15 Fanboy & Chum Chum Fanboy & Chum Chum is an American 3D CGI animated television series created by Eric Robles for Nickelodeon. It is based on Fanboy, an animated short created by Robles for Nicktoons and Frederator Studios, which was broadcast August 14, 2009 to July 12, 2014 on Random! Cartoons. The series was first broadcast October 12, 2009 on Nickelodeon as a preview, then officially premiered November 6, 2009 after SpongeBob's Truth or Square.

This is should be the top. This show is pointless and just annoying. The two characters make annoying jokes especially the meatball who make other people annoyed.

You people do realize they make references to movies like A Clockwork Orange and Silence Of The Lambs on this show right? Those aren't kids movies.

This show scared my little sister!

So bad that it overuses toilet humor.

16 Sam & Cat Sam & Cat is an American teen sitcom that originally aired from June 8, 2013, to July 17, 2014, on Nickelodeon. It is a crossover spin-off/sequel of both iCarly and Victorious.

I have to say, this show is the worst example ever. Sam teaches that it's okay to torture kids and to threats them like crap. Cat is considered as the "typical sweet girl" but she's dumber than Dora. WORST SHOW EVER. Jennette Mccurdy and Ariana Grande are horrible role models for kids.
And why is the Total Drama series on the list?

17 The Ren & Stimpy Show The Ren & Stimpy Show, often simply referred to as Ren & Stimpy, is an American animated television series created by John Kricfalusi for Nickelodeon.

The Ren and Stumpy show has one of the scariest scenes I have seen in any kids T.V. shows. Ren gets upset with Stumpy, I think, and starts talking about how he's going to torture him. He says things like "and then I'm going to rip your arm out of its socket".

I hope the 2019 reboot is silly and imaginative and for KIDS ONLY.

18 Dog With a Blog Dog with a Blog is an American television sitcom that premiered on Disney Channel on October 12, 2012, and ended on September 25, 2015. The series stars G Hannelius, Blake Michael, Francesca Capaldi, Stephen Full, Regan Burns, and Beth Littleford. The series was co-created by Michael B. Kaplan.

The dog is cute, though the rest of it makes no sense.

This just shows how disney is runing out of show ideas. The dog is cute though.

19 My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic is an animated children's television series based on the fourth incarnation of Hasbro's My Little Pony franchise. The show follows a studious unicorn (later an alicorn) pony named Twilight Sparkle (Tara Strong) and her friends Applejack (Ashleigh Ball), Rarity (Tabitha St. Germain), Fluttershy (Andrea Libman), Rainbow Dash (Ball), Pinkie Pie (Libman), and dragon... read more

This show succeeded in messages and morals but the terrible part is that it teaches you how to do ONE THING in your ENTIRE LIFE!

This show may teach you friendship but RARITY is so girly that you'll think being girly is annoying!

I like this show. The animation is beautiful and it has good morals about friendship. Very inspiring.

20 The Loud House The Loud House is an American animated television series created by Chris Savino for Nickelodeon. The series revolves around the chaotic suburban everyday life of a boy named Lincoln Loud and his ten sisters, to which he survives as the middle child and only son in a large family of eleven children. Originally set to premier on January 2016, the series instead premiered on May 2, 2016, with the episodes Left in the Dark and Get the Message.

This should be higher on the list. The only two characters I care for are Luna and Lucy. But Lincoln is just awful. And here's why:
1. He thinks his sisters are crazy
2. He's selfish (I saw an episode where he was trying to get a backpack but forgot to get a gift for Lola)
3. He always gets away with it
4. And he is, like Lori, bossy (to his sisters and friends)

21 6Teen 6teen is a Canadian animated sitcom originally produced by Nelvana, with the final season produced by Fresh TV. It premiered on November 7, 2004 on Teletoon.

Do you think its okay to do nothing but just text on cell phones, go out alone and with out adult supervision, and breaking the rules?

22 The Brother's Flub

The name is really cheesy and lame.

23 Sally Bollywood: Super Detective

It teaches kids to stick their noses into other people's business, let girls go into the boys bathroom whenever, steal other innocent children's belongings, make them think they can do anything ( Which could get them seriously injured since we're talking gymnastics.), and have a bratty attitude like Sally. She basically LIVES with Doowee. I mean, they're already next door neighbors! Sally's vain and thinks she's good at everything.

24 Ace Ventura: Animated Series
25 Liv and Maddie Liv and Maddie is a live-action Disney Channel sitcom that started on July 19, 2013, and ended on March 24, 2017. It is about two identical twin sisters named Olivia "Liv" Rooney and Madison "Maddie" Rooney (both portrayed by actress Dove Olivia Cameron; born in January 1996 as Chloe Celeste Hosterman) who reunite after one of them, Liv, returns to her home to see her family after four years of starring... read more

I don't understand it, in fact I think that Liv's show Voltage is better than Liv and Maddie.

This show teaches you to make out with your sister because it's appropriate for T.V. (sarcasm).
