The thing with Marvelous MIsadventures of Flapjack is that is was daring. It was willing to do things that would turn people off. I always liked the fact they tried something new without it turning into something like breadwhiners or some crap. It was absurd in a unique and interesting way. I personally enjoyed the show, but I can see why other people don't.

I have to agree with that. Everyone praised it so much that I watched a few episodes, but I don't think I... well, get it. I was not really able to spot the jokes, it just felt weird for the sake of being weird, and pretty druggy on top. It's the same problem I have with Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.
