He's the one who started the fire and everybody who came after him is just the evolution of everything what he did. He imported a new kind of rebelious music all over the world. Like John Lennon said " Before Elvis there was nothing ". He opened the doors to white people to listen to black music ( you won't be listen to rap, Michael Jackson etc.. ). He inspired all groups to come ( The Beatles... ). Even Bob Dylan said that Elvis was the main thing why he started to do music. Elvis Presley is one of the MOST important persons in history. Everybody who don't agree on that fact is a little stupid kid or a ignorant uneducated person. Put him out of this list if you want to be serious about your list.
