Top Ten Least Varied Music Artists

Before you get annoyed, this doesn't mean I dislike the band.
The Top Ten
1 AC/DC AC/DC are a Australian hard rock band, formed in November 1973 by brothers Malcolm and Angus Young, who continued as members until Malcolm's illness and departure in 2014 . They were fronted by Bon Scott until his untimely death due to alcohol poisoning in 1979, after which they hired Brian Johnson to front the band. Commonly referred to as a hard rock or blues rock band.

I love AC/DC but they always stick to the same old thing in their music. I can't listen to too many songs at once by them without getting bored as they are pretty generic

All their songs are the same.

2 Chuck Berry Charles Edward Anderson "Chuck" Berry was an American guitarist, singer and songwriter, and one of the pioneers of rock and roll music. He died on 18 March 2017.

I'm pretty sure the opening guitar on his tracks is always very similar and sometimes his tracks are hard to tell apart if you aren't listening carefully

3 Cannibal Corpse Cannibal Corpse is a American death metal band from Buffalo, New York, formed in 1988. The band is known for their graphic album covers, explicitly violent lyrics and song titles like "I C** Blood" The group got into mainstream after performing the song "Hammer Smashed Face" in the 1994 film Ace Ventura: Pet Detective. He was replaced by George "Corpsegrinder" Fisher of the band Monstrosity, who has remained as the frontman since. ...read more.

It may be because I'm not very educated with this band, but in my opinion they aren't as good as other death metal bands because they are quite bland and same-y

4 Rage Against the Machine Rage Against the Machine is a rap metal band formed in Los Angeles, California. The band consists of vocalist Zack de la Rocha, bassist Tim Commerford, guitarist Tom Morello and drummer Brad Wilk.

Again, I love the band but they never stray far from the angry political band they are

5 Led Zeppelin Led Zeppelin was an English hard rock band formed in London in 1968 as the New Yardbirds. The group consisted of Robert Plant (Vocal), Jimmy Page (Guitar), John Paul Jones (Bass, Keyboard) and John Bonham (Drums) and was very much the child of Jimmy Page who even financed their first tour. He had tasted some previous success with The [original] Yardbirds and was friendly with some big names in rock. Page states it was Keith Moon of The Who that claimed the band could only go down, like a lead balloon -- thus prompting the iconic name of Led Zeppelin. The band's heavy, guitar-driven sound, rooted in blues and psychedelia on their early albums, has earned them recognition as one of the progenitors ...read more.

In my opinion the most overrated band ever, their music is often dull and generic

6 Limp Bizkit Limp Bizkit is an American nu-metal/rap metal/rock band from Jacksonville, Florida, formed in 1994. Their lineup consists of Fred Durst, Sam Rivers, John Otto, and Wes Borland. Honestly this band is consistently awful in my opinion. Annoying, corny and Fred Durst is an ass

7 Sex Pistols The Sex Pistols were an English punk rock band formed in London in 1975. Although they initially lasted just two and a half years and produced only four singles and one studio album, Never Mind the Bollocks, Here's the Sex Pistols, they are considered one of the most influential acts in the history of popular music, having initiated a punk movement in the United Kingdom, and inspired many later punk and alternative rock musicians.

Maybe I shouldn't add this given that they only did one album but within the album most of the songs sound the same. I do really like the Sex Pistols though

8 Mayhem Mayhem is a Norwegian black metal band formed in 1984 in Oslo, regarded as one of the pioneers of the Norwegian black metal scene. The band is also known for the infamous events surrounding them including the 1991 suicide of vocalist Dead (in which former guitarist Euronymous took pictures of Dead's ...read more.

They are a mediocre band in my opinion and I feel that their songs - I may be wrong - are mostly the same old guitar style with the same shrieking vocals. I don't dislike them as such but they get dull

9 Wham! Wham! were an English pop duo consisting of George Michael and Andrew Ridgeley, formed in Bushey in 1981.

They are a good band I think but they definitely are a POP band and never do anything other than their style of pop. R.I.P George Michael though

10 Motley Crue Mötley Crüe is an American metal band formed in Los Angeles, California on January 17, 1981. The group was founded by bassist Nikki Sixx and drummer Tommy Lee, lead vocalist Vince Neil and lead guitarist Mick Mars.

I felt a glam metal band had to be on here somewhere and this is the only one that I know much of. I would add Steel Panther but they are making fun of it so it would be wrong

The Contenders
