Best Live Album Cover Arts

Metal_Treasure
Just a photo of the music artist on the cover isn't enough for me unless the photo has some artistic qualities to it. Or at least they put the photo in some interesting context/background and it's more than just a photo.

The Top Ten

1 Yessongs - Yes
2 Pulse - Pink Floyd
3 Live - Blind Guardian

This is a real painting with incredible details. Moreover, this cover art sums up the lyrical themes of the band and the mood of the music - dark fantasy and medieval atmosphere in the Bard's Tavern. - Metal_Treasure

4 Live at Leeds - The Who
5 Anywhere but Home - Evanescence

This eye looks like Amy's eye and the cover is a good example of incorporating a photo in a cover art. - Metal_Treasure

6 Captured - Journey
7 The Great Deceiver: Live 1973-1974 - King Crimson
8 S&M - Metallica

This cover includes a photo but it doesn't look cheesy. The font of 'S&M' is very classy and represents what's on the album: Metallica with a Symphonic Orchestra.
Also, I know that the guitarist in the image is Metallica's frontman James Hetfield although they didn't show his head/face. Why they didn't show it? I don't know. But it makes the cover interesting. Maybe.
By the way, this cover art is used by this site to represent metal music on the home page (it's one of the thematic categories - "Best Metal Bands"). - Metal_Treasure

9 Live at Monterey - The Jimi Hendrix Experience
10 Get Yer Ya-Ya's Out! - The Rolling Stones

Not quite sure if it's tasteless or funny, or both. But I added it to see what you think.
I think the donkey is funny but the whole cover looks...childish? Cheesy? - Metal_Treasure

The Contenders

11 BBC Sessions - Led Zeppelin
12 On Stage - Rainbow
13 Live After Death - Iron Maiden
14 Aloha from Hawaii Via Satellite - Elvis Presley
15 Absent Lovers: Live in Montreal 1984 - King Crimson
16 Made in Hong Kong (And in Various Other Places) - Nightwish
