Reviews on Each Kingdom Hearts Game

Alpha101 The Kingdom Hearts series is th best video game series ever made in my opinion. Below I will list all the current Kingdom Hearts games in chronological order and review them. Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep - This is probably the fourth best game of the series. The storyline is outstanding, the gameplay is probably the best in the series, and the graphics are simply amazing. The only thing I hate about the Kingdom Hearts series is this: they are afraid to get a little dark. I love this series, but the only thing I hate about it is that at some points in the game you will see a cutscene that is considered childish. I want to see more darker things in Kingdom Hearts. Eight year old kids aren't the only ones that play this game. There are some teenagers, and even some aduls who play this. What I want to see in the next Kingdom Hearts game, is cutscenes that aren't that violent, because if the game contained blood and gore it would be rated M obviously, but I want to see more cutscenes like when Roxas fights Sora, or when Roxas fights Riku. I want to see more of that. And that's exactly what I love about this game. It's not that childish, it as some dark scenes, like when Ventus gets frozen. It's more realistic this way. I give this game a 9/10.Kingdom Hearts 1 - This is the second best game of the series in my opinion. The gameplay is amazing, and the storyline is even better than Birth By Sleep. This game is a classic. I love the first few levels when you're on the beach, I especially like when Sora kills himself to save Kairi, but then later comes back to life, and the boss level is the second best in the series. This game has really nice worlds with really nice characters. You actually get attatched with the people you meet along the way. The only thing I think that needs to improve in this game is the graphics. Let's face it: the graphics were horrible. I know it was the first game created in the series, so the graphics needed time to develop. But the graphics were a minor set back. This game is amazing. It came out around 10 years ago, and I still enjpy playing it. I give it a 10/10.Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days - This game was a masterpiece. It is the third best in the series. The storyline blew my mind. Hardly anything ever blows my mind. I almost cried when Xion died, and I'm a guy. That's how good the storyline is. Besides the great storyline, the gameplay is fun, and the graphics were actually not that bad, surprising for a DS game. There's only one minor set back in the game: the missions. In the game, you have about 358 missions, and about 300 of them are boring. Most of them just make you take ten minutes to track down this heartless that is really easy to beat, and some of them just make you go collect these things, or collect intel. BORING!!! But there are a few of them that are actually pretty fun, or they have something dire to the storyline. An after almost every mission it shows you, Axel, and Xion at the clock in Traverse Town. I loved that they added that. It makes you get attatched with the characters, as I already told you, it worked. I almost cried when Xion died. I also loved playing as Roxas. It felt good to take a break from Sora and try something new. Don't get me wrong, I prefer playing as Sora, but I definately didn't hate playing as Roxas. He's now my favorite character in the series. I hope you get to play as him again in the future. I give the game a 9/10.Kingdom Hearts: Chain and Re:Chain of Memories - This is a great game. The storyline is great, though sad because a lot of my favorite characters died. Why Sora, why? The gameplay stinked, in my opinion. I know a lot of you liked the gameplay, but I didn't. I feel like they should have stuck to the gameplay of Kingdom Hearts 1 and Kingdom Hearts 2, but that's just my opinion. The graphics are pretty much the same as Kingdom Hearts 1, so they're pretty good. I give the game a 6/10.Kingdom Hearts 2 - This is obviously the best game in the series, and possibly the best game ever. The storyline is the best of the series, the gameplay is the best, and the graphics are the best. Let's start with the storyline. The story is absolutely amazing. I love when Roxas and Sora fights, Sora finds Kairi and Riku, and the boss battle. Oh man, don't get me started on the boss battle. It's possibly the best boss battle in history. I'm not going to tell you exactly wat the battle is like, because it would ruin the fun, wouldn't it? The gameplay is just like Kingdom Hearts 1, but with improvements. I love that you can . That was a step in the right direction. And the graphics were amazing. I never get tired of this game. You definately have to play it. I give it a 10/10.Kingdom Hearts: Coded and Re:Coded - This game is pretty good, but the creators could have done way better. Number one: the storyline isn't that great. I mean, it's not bad, but it's probably the worst in the series. The gameplay stinks too. I don't like it when you stumble into a bunch of heartless, and it takes you into a different screen to fight them. I want to keep things the way they are, like in all the other games. The graphics are also okay, but they could have done better on that too. I give this game a 5/10.Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance - This game is actually not that bad. The storyline is great, the gameplay is amazing, and the graphics are pretty good too. I like that you get to play as Riku and Sora in the game. The storyline is great, because it in a way wraps things up. The whole series so far has been about stopping Xeinort, and in the game Xeinort revials his true plan to you. He's recreating Organization 13 with duplicates of himself. I did not see that coming, honestly. That blew my mind. Again, hardly anything blows my mind. The gameplay is outstanding. I really like the invention of flow motion. I hope they continue to include that in the next upcomming games. The graphics are pretty good too. And the worlds in the game are great. I also like the Dream Eaters in the game. The only thing I don't like is that they are a substitute for the Heartless. The Heartless are way better enemies than the Dream Eaters. I think they should continue to have Dream Eaters, but only as allies. Keep Heartless and Nobodies as enemies. I give this game an 8/10.Kingdom Hearts: HD 1.5 - I haven't played this game yet. But I know that it is a combonation of Kingdom Hearts 1, Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories, and Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days. Those three games are great, and they are now even better, because they now can be played on the PS3! Now there will be better gameplay and better graphics. I give this game a 10/10 for adding these three games to the PS3.Kingdom Hearts 3: Nobody has played this game yet. But the creators of Kingdom Hearts have recently announced that it will come out in a year or two for the PS4 and the Xbox One. I'm so excited! Since this game has not come out yet, I will explain some things I want to see in the game. Number One: Sora's wardrobe. Since Soras is now a teenager, he should have a more sophisticated look. I think a black t-shirt with dark blue jeans, and a black jacket. Don't call me goth. I just think it would look nice that way. Also, I think you should be able to wear costumes whenever you want. For example, you could wear your Halloween Town costume while your in The World That Never Was. Number Two: I think there should be three storylines in the game. You know in 3d Dream Drop Distance when you died as Sora you became Riku? I think you should play as Sora, then play as Roxas, then play as Aqua. Number Three: I think Sora and Roxas should face off again. I loved it when in Kingdom Hearts 2 they both battled. It was epic. I think they should do that again. Number Four: I think that Sora has to die. But just oike in Kingdom Hearts 1, he has to come back to life. I just want to see everyone's faces. Number Five: Xion needs to come back to life. I miss her so much. The game also needs to have flow motion. If Kingdom Hearts 3 has all of this and more, I will give it a 10/10, and I think it might beat Kingdom Hearts 2 for the best in the series.Well, that's my review for all the Kingdom Hearts games in the series. I'm a huge fan and I can't wait until Kingdom Hearts 3 come out. Thank you all for reading!~Alpha101.
