Top Ten Things I Did at Ages 8 and 9
I was born on December 15, 2003 and there are many things I did with my tutor Catherine Kelly Davis. And she has the same birthday as me but she was born on December 15, 1958.I did a book called Carmen's library adventure at the age of 8, and Carmen's younger sister Hasika wanted the book about turtles that Carmen's youngest sibling Jason wanted, and then tug of war had begun in the library.
I did not want to revise on my own writing. Instead I wanted to correct my work by erasing.
As I said when I was 8 1/2 years, I said this:
Good writers plan before writing
Good writers come up with new ideas
Good writers stick to the topic
Here's what I said in my author's PowerPoint:
Key words are important words
Key words help you understand
Key words help you remember
Here's what I was told to say from my tutor when summarizing about roadrunners
Mother roadrunner, lays eggs in the nest. After mother roadrunner lays eggs in the nest, she is extremely tired. Mother roadrunner leaves the nest. Father roadrunner protects the eggs while mother roadrunner is gone.
Carmen's younger sister Hasika wasn't confident to do a backlog in the pool, so Coach Rhonda told her to count the light bulbs in the room while floating on her back.
On December 15, 2012 My tutor turned 54 and I turned 9 on that day, and I was reading a book with a character named Katie Chang
While I was doing my work on Carmen's baseball game, my tutor recorded me starting of me showing off my thinking sign with my left hand finger on my left temple.
My teacher Mrs. Wade came in to say happy birthday to me the day before I turned 9 and I was with my friends Grace Rua, Abby Lawson, Dasi Fienkeng, Tejas Venkarmuker, Minha Yang, Sydney Ho, and Bailey Robinson.
I was pretending to be Carmen and my tutor was pretending to be Hasika, and Hasika wanted to buy a doll that costed $9 when she only had $6 so her Carmen and Hasika both figured out the problem together.
