1 1991 World Series vs. Minnesota Twins

The Braves lost a thrilling 1991 World Series to the Minnesota Twins in 10 innings by the score of 1-0. They could've won the series in regulation had it not been for a baserunning mistake by Lonnie Smith in the top of the eighth inning.

2 1996 World Series vs. New York Yankees

Ahead 2-0 in the World Series, the Braves lost the next four straight games, including three straight in Atlanta. Among the losses was Game 4 that saw the Braves blow a 6-0 lead to lose 8-6 in extra innings.

3 1993 NLCS vs. Philadelphia Phillies

Coming off an incredible 1993 pennant race that saw them win 104 games while winning the division by one game against the San Francisco Giants, the Braves ran out of steam as they lost in six NLCS games to the Philadelphia Phillies.

7 1992 World Series vs. Toronto Blue Jays

Losing a heartbreaking 1991 Fall Classic, the Braves started the 1992 World Series-winning Game 1. But three straight losses put them behind 3-1. In Game 6, the Braves tied the game to avoid elimination in the 9th inning. But the Blue Jays would get two runs in the 11th inning and held on to a 4-3 win.

8 1999 World Series vs. New York Yankees

An epic rematch of 1996 with the title of Team of the 90s was on the line. Atlanta was no match for the Yankees, who swept them in four straight.

9 2003 NLDS vs. Chicago Cubs

The Braves only scored one run in the deciding 5th game of the NLDS against the Cubs.

10 2004 NLDS & 2005 NLDS vs. Houston Astros

The 2004 NLDS would see the Houston Astros finally get past the Atlanta Braves in five games to win their first ever postseason series. A year later, it was Chris Burke's 18th inning walkoff homer that ended the Braves run of dominance.
