Cubsfan16's Favorite Episodes of Family Guy of All Time

You have no idea how much I Love watching this episode. This is Family Guy's Magnum Opus. A nearly hour long special episode with like 20 characters in this old abandoned mansion with a complex murder plot. Not only is this story super interesting and intense but also very well balanced with the humor and drama of it all. Also again it's so cool just seeing the whole cast of characters together at one location at the same time. This episode is absolute cinema. It's cool that the writers actually did something like this. The music fits perfectly and I like that they kill off a few secondary characters permanently. If you haven't watched this episode yet I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY Recommend it!

The very first Road To in the series was actually my favorite episode ever when I was growing up. I think what makes this one so special is the fact that we see Stewie and Brian team up together for the very first time and it really sets the stage for their partnership. There’s a lot of heartfelt wholesome moments and of course some humor and shenanigans as the two try to make it back home. The Peter story isn’t very compelling but still has some funny moments with the marriage counseling video that turns out to be a s**tape. Oh and the Road to Rhode Island song Stewie and Brian sing is still one of the best songs in the series. This Episode definitely sets a good precedent for the Road To Episodes. Even if it’s not the craziest adventure it’s still a great episode.

This episode is so GOATED. Sure there's no real plot here but Stewie and Brian traveling to all the different universes was so cool and such a unique premise for an episode. The Disney part is probably the best part. If you haven't seen this episode I highly recommend it.

I honestly like the intro to this episode with Stewie and Osama bin Laden. This is honestly THE most hilarious episode in the series to this day. Peter creates his own television network after the FCC censors regular TV shows. Never a dull moment. The best part of this episode was the "freakin' FCC" song.

I always liked the concept of this episode. Brian and Stewie time travel back to 1999. It's cool to see the old and new art styles. I think the episode picks up when Brian prevents 9/11 from happening. One of the only season 10 episodes I recommend watching.

Blue Harvest is by far the best of the Star Wars episodes. A 45 minute episode that is a reenactment of A New Hope. The plot is pretty parallel to the movie with some Family guy humor thrown in there too. If you're gonna rewatch any of the Star Wars specials this one is the best of the bunch.

This is the best Christmas episode I've ever seen. This episode was truly something special. I wish I could experience it for the first time again. In this episode Brian and Stewie travel to the North Pole to find Santa Claus only to discover it's dark, gloomy, and run down due to the weight of all the children's demands. So Brian and Stewie try to save Christmas by becoming Santa. Things of course don't go according to plan and they basically murder a family. Anyhow they end up saving Christmas at the last minute. Both the songs were great too. I like the uncensored All I really want for Christmas song lol. This episode slaps so hard.

I really liked this episode and could tell they really tried with it. Generally speaking I think most fans consider this the first truly great episode of Family Guy. The entire episode centers around Y2K and the conspiracy that it would be the end of the world. Peter is paranoid and falls for the big conspiracy theory but it just so happens that he was right all along. So the episode is a post apocalyptic scenario. Overall a creative and unique concept. Oh and the first chicken fight happens here.
This episode manages to be both wholesome and hilarious. The Griffins have to relocate to the South after a criminal threatens to get revenge on Chris for turning him in. Pretty much all of the humor is deep southern redneck stereotypes. The Chris relationship storyline is so cute and charming. The ending where Herbert left so many messages is an underrated moment. I forget that this was the first episode he appeared in the series. I know he's a creepy pervert but he's An underrated side character.

This episode was such a good one. I can appreciate it as a fan of NFL football. Peter joining the New England Patriots was pretty funny with all the gags they could do with that. Of course the highlight was the Shipoopi song. It was so random and wacky and hilarious. The other plot line was Stewie beating the hell out of Brian. He just goes out of his way to torture Brian and be completely unhinged over Brian not paying him back over some bet. Anyways what an iconic episode.
