At the time of me writing this, Trivium aren't in my remix of my top ten favourite bands, but they are joint tenth and I have said so in the description for the item in tenth place. However, it doesn't feel right not having them in the top ten, because not only are they one of my favourite bands ever, but also they are possibly the most ambitious and quality band ever. Here is why: each and every album is a masterpiece, and literally EVERY SINGLE SONG is a huge anthem that has ambition and quality, showcasing superb skill and songwriting quality, it is something they've been praised for by metal critics, yet they're still massively underrated. Every sound, whether it be metalcore on Ascendancy or metal on their next album The Crusade, is made to perfectly suit them. They are brilliant. And despite each album sounding different and having it's own atmosphere and quality, it is still unmistakable in it being Trivium. Epic band.
