Please Own Up

IronSabbathPriest Someone keeps on adding Marilyn Manson stuff to to my lists. Which would be fine, but the albums added really have nothing to do with the list in general.

I highly doubt "Mechanical Animals" and "Antichrist Superstar" are concept albums/rock opera's. They sound like unappealing shock rock records. And I know you shouldn't judge a book by it's cover, but I've heard a few MM songs, and none of them really sound like they follow a story, like concept albums/rock opera's should. It all just sounds pointless.

And his albums get added to my other lists as well, and THEY are the items that usually get the most comments. Granted, the lists I usually make feature albums/songs/bands that aren't really well known to the world. But that's the point of my list making, take a look at the band Disillusion. Ever heard of them? I've tried to promote them a lot on this site. Yet I always fail BECAUSE tasteless glam fans keep adding Marilyn Manson to my lists! Please stop!

I think I know who keeps adding the items. *Hint* he is a visitior who made four HQ posts about MM. If it is you, dear fanboy. Please stop.

And this goes for everyone: if you're gonna comment on this post just to argue with me, don't bother. This isn't an attack on Marilyn Manson, just a polite request to stop poisoning my lists with his albums. :D

I totally agree that Marilyn Manson should not be added to your lists as often as they are. However, I want to point out for the record that Mechanical Animals, Antichrist Superstar, and Holy Wood are concept albums released consecutively by Manson to tell a story. I've seen that guy comment on Turkeyasylum's and PetSounds' Q&A's. But I promise you it wasn't me doing any of that stuff. By the way, I'm the guy who made the four Manson posts.
