Social media didn't dominate 00s kids lives and as a result kids still socialised with their friends in person a lot in the 00s instead of messaging in social media. Talking in person will always be the best form of communication.

Before the late 00s DLC didn't exist, you could buy a brand new game for about £30 (or $40-45) and that was the full game, no £50 DLC to buy a year later. The price to get the game in the first place was much cheaper, now brand new games are more expensive even if you adjust it for inflation.

Nowadays I here claims of people constantly looking at their phones even when they're having a social conversation at a restaurant. These sort of claims were unheard of in the 00s.

That's because I didn't even HAVE a phone.

00s had better kids T.V. shows. The 00s had Drake & Josh, SpongeBob was in its prime, Power Rangers Ninja Storm & Dino Thunder were then best Power Rangers, Jimmy Neutron, reruns of Goosebumps and 1994 Spider-Man series (in the UK anyway), Cubix, Cramp Twins, Ned's Survival Guide and FairyOdd Parents. The Pokémon anime was much better too and Lost was another great 00s T.V. show.

I watched 90s and 00s shows back around 2008-2011.

Kids in the 00s were fitter than kids now because we went outside more. The parents of today's kids spent twice the amount of time playing outside compared to their children.

Before the mid 2010s I was much more fit.
