Billboard Chart Analysis: 4/15/2017

ProPanda I like how successful this is starting to become.

Segement 1:

The Top Ten
10) Pasionfruit- Drake
It’s the next single. I’m predicting a run similar to Roses, or maybe Don’t Let Me Down.
9) The Chainsmokers – Paris
Album hype. Three huge losses above this. Something Just Like This momentum. This is staying a couple of weeks longer.
8) Tunnel Vision- Kodak Black
Typical rap chart run. Unless it crosses over to radio (lol), this isn’t staying longer.
7) ZAYN/Taylor Swift- I Don’t Wanna Live Forever
And, this fell hard. And good, it’s done at this point. Bom Bidi Bom is probably going to radio soon. Yay.
6) Migos- Bad And Boujee ft. Lil Uzi Vert
And this is falling pretty hard too. Thank god, Lil Uzi’s heading top ten now with a 2 nd hit, his best song yet.
5) KYLE- iSpy ft. Lil Yachty
Everything beneath this is barely gaining/ falling hard. That, combined with the Drake show falling, it caused this song to boost 7 spots without even that big of a gain. This is as far as it’s gonna go now, in my opinion.
4) The Weeknd – I Feel It Coming ft. Daft Punk
Wow, this is a contender for number 1. And it’s good, we need more pop like this on the Hot 100 right now. With airplay increasing, and streaming rebounding, this could be bigger than Starboy.
3) The Chainsmokers & Coldplay - Something Just Like This
It feels… wrong to say this may become Coldplay’s biggest song in the future. Then again, Migos and Rae Sremmurd had back to back number 1s this year, so it is full of surprises.
2) Bruno Mars – That’s What I Like
This didn’t grow. I doubt it’s going #1 any time soon at this point. Eh it was worth a shot.
1) Ed Sheeran – Shape Of You
And this is still dominant in every category.

Contenders for the next #1 are:
· New comebacks from big name artists (Taylor Swift, Justin Timberlake)

The fact that Body Like a Back Road is the highest peaking country song since Cruise is baffling. - visitor
