Awful Animation #9) Johnny's Monkey Business (Johnny Test)
Puga I'm gonna take on something light since the big one is up next. So let's tackle Johnny Test. Can I say something? This show is so overhated. It's intolerable at worst. People treat it like it's as bad as Breadwinners. But onwards. I'm gonna review an average episode of Johnny Teat now. The episode starts with Johnny seeing an ad for a video game system. And since Johnny is Johnny, he of course wants it. His parents obviously refuse and say that he should earn the $300 on his own. Meanwhile, Susan and Mary are using their test monkey Lola for a few things when Johnny gets an idea. He steals the monkey and makes a circus where Lola is the star attraction just so he can make money. You do know that the circus costs more than your game system, right ? Anyway, it's a disaster. And these exact same things keep on repeating throughout the episode because the writers aren't smart enough to come up with a constructed plot. Mary and Susan drop Lola into a monkey zoo for safety reasons but Lola doesn't like it there. They pick up Lola and go home. The End. Ridiculous plot full of so many holes? Check. Cliche after cliche after cliche? Check. Unlikable characters? Check.
