RRF: My Visit At Ikefukuro Café & Dining Attack o.v.o

RoseRedFlower Hello I'm back with a quick update! I'm sorry I wasn't able to add in some of my own comments on the best (anime studio name) lists I added. I'll try and do that soon. Also, I've been busy traveling if you can't tell by the title.
I went to Ikefukuro Café & Dining Attack. It's located in Toshima, Tokyo. I went there with Erik (fiance) and we went there for a crazy experience. We normally go to random crazy cafes at least once when we're in Tokyo. So we decided to try here. Last year it was The Lock Up. If you've seen the AnimeMan's video: This Restaurant Almost F#%KING KILLED US. (WTF Japan). You'll understand the experience. If you want my personal experience you may ask.
Basically, it's an owl cafe dedicated to Attack on Titan. The owner is a huge fan and the owls are named after the characters in Attack on Titan like Jean or Marco. Some of their personalities actually matched their names. The one called Mikasa was rather quiet and reserved. She was my favorite (don't tell Eren) and I really loved the experience.
Be warned you have to pay for both the owl and the order. Which was about ¥300 to ¥1,000. The owls were assured rest and had handlers to help. Basically the owls were in shifts (I don't know if that's for every owl cafe) but that's how I got Mikasa and Eren. I don't know who Erik got off the top of my head. I think it might have been Sasha and Ymir...I'll check with him.
They only stay for about an hour or so before being switched and put away to sleep. It was like that with all the owls I saw in there. The owls were pretty nice, except for one owl that looked like Hedwig from Harry Potter. They kept the owls from us far away so we didn't have to hear their constant screeching all cluttered up and there weren't too many people when I went there.
The staff members were excellent and were very specific with instructions with domesticated owls and how the process works. Plus the drinks were good and the customer service was excellent.
If you've got a chance, money and an understanding of the Japanese language, I say go for it! It's not for everyone, I know that. If you're looking for a sophisticated restaurant in Japan, try Nihonryori-Ryugin. It seemed pretty clean and tidy when we visited. So here's my little adventure while I'm visiting Japan and I hope to see you all again soon!
