Most Overplayed Songs in 2017 - My view

allamassal 5. Liam Payne: Strip that Down
I couldn't go anywhere without hearing this garbage with inappropriate lyrics. At least Shape of You (which was about pretty much the same thing) had an enjoyable melody, the melody in this "song" just sounds excessively autotuned and thus boring.

4. Kesha: Praying
For some reason this site calls this the best song of 2017, but I don't think it is THAT good. The people who called this the best song of the year are part of the reason I could not go anywhere without hearing this in the last 4 months of 2017. I don't hate this song, but I don't love it either.

3. Kelly Clarkson: Love So Soft
Love So Soft is just dull, repetitive trash, yet nonstop playing for a month. Songs like these from older artists who were better in musical quality in the past are a sure sign that they have overstayed their welcome in the music world. Whoever said Since U Been Gone was annoying has never heard THIS song. I don't remember 100.7 playing any of her songs until this (which is pathetic because it means they never played her GOOD songs). And yet she was at the AMAs and New Year's Rockin' Eve just to perform this song.

2. J Balvin / Willy William: Mi Gente
This song has an annoying background noise that sounds like the noise of a constipated goat on autotune, REPEATED LIKE 50 TIMES!!! That is sure to turn you into a psychopath after one listen. The message is good (because it's about diversity and equality), but the song is just horrible. And yet we heard this every other time we went out for MONTHS.

1. P!nk: What About Us
I could go on all day about how overplayed this song was in the last 3 months of 2017. On November 16, I was on my way to piano class, and it came on 101.5. When we were almost there, it came on 97.3 AND 95.5 at the same time, and then before one of those stations was done playing it it came on 97.9. That's 3 TIMES IN 5 MINUTES!!!! (no, literally!) On December 28 we heard this song 3 times in 30 minutes and I complained about hearing it and almost got punished for that. 2 days later we heard it at the restaurant. Not to mention the fact that when I hear this song it gets stuck in my head for hours.

Note: The titles of the songs are written in the same way as they are in our car's radio.
Also, all of these songs came out in the second half of the year, nothing from the first half of 2017 was overplayed in my opinion.
