Autistic Game Critic Episode #2 - Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas
bobbythebrony Ok everyone I'm here for episode 2 of the Autistic Game Critic blog post series. This episode we are going to focus on Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. Like Resident Evil 4, It is known as one of the best, if not THE best, game in the entire series. Ok let's get started.Characters - Like all Grand Theft Auto games, San Andreas has a wide assortment of "interesting" characters.
1. Carl "C.J" Johnson - C.J is the main character in the game. He has a different personality than other GTA protagonist. He isn't a total psychopath who kills for trivial reasons. He has a conscience and kills for one reason: FAMILY.
2. Ryder - Ryder was one of C.J's friends who betrayed him. He's the stereotypical gangbanger but instead of saying the N word, he mostly calls C.J a "Busta".
3. Big Smoke - C.J's friend who would rather eat than take on the Ballas. Would you believe he's the main antagonist of the game?
Weapons - Grand Theft Auto is known for being the first gang-related series to have a mass supply of melee weapons. Let's take a look at some.
1. Chainsaws
2. Katana
3. Shovels
4. Knives
The game is also the first game to have a giant rubber dildo as a weapon. How about that?
Gameplay - The gameplay is emmaculate in this game. I like how you can lock onto enemies. It really helps a lot. Also being able to make yourself stronger to increase your melee damage is great. It's also difficult to decapitate someone with the katana but It's worth the try. The wide assortment of guns you can find is also awesome. One thing that confuses me is that the shotgun is in the police station.
One last thing: The Hot Coffee Mod! In case you don't know, the game used to have a sexual minigame so... yeah. It's too bad it was removed but there are ways to get around that ;)
