Autistic Game Critic Episode #3 - Manhunt 2

bobbythebrony Hello everybody and welcome to Autistic Game Critic. This week we look at Manhunt 2, a gory and very controversial video game. First off, I just wanna say that I love this game for reasons I cant say, but I will now critique this game's good and bad qualities.

Plot - The game has a decent plot, superior to the first game. In the game, a mental patient named Daniel Lamb escapes from an insane asylum and goes on a second killing spree under the control of Leo Kaspar, his psycho second personality. The plot is better with a wider range of characters and gorier killing methods.

Gore - While probably not the goriest video game, it's pretty gory. I really love the cutscenes showing the murders at a good angle with blood splashing on the screen. It's definately my type of game as I'm a fan of psychological horror games.

Weapons - This game has a wide array of weapons from syringes to blunt objects to stabbing weapons to guns and alot more. Let's look at the goriest weapon in the game - the samurai sword. It's level 3 execution is off the charts brutal. It's longer than most executions with more mutilating blows to various body parts. The guns are the quickest murders with a large hole being put through the victim's head. Yeah right in your face you dumb bitch.

Now lets look at the bad sides.

Graphics - The graphics aren't really that good, even for a ps2 game. Honestly it could've been better.

Controversy - When it came out, some people tried to have it banned due to it supposedly causing copycat killings. It started with the first game and the murder of Stefan Pakeerah, with was later deemed false. Some people need to do like Scooby Doo and get a clue.

In conclusion, It has a good side and bad side, but still a badass game and I encourage you to buy the wii version, which yes caused controversy.

Well this is bobbythebrony saying: Til I see you again, watch your step.
