Movie Reviews #3 - Sponge Out Of Water

bobbythebrony So many of you have probably seen the New Spongebob Movie abd here's the critique.

The plot of this movie is to retrieve the Krabby Patty formula. Nothing new there except this time it's not Plankton, It's Burger-Beard the Pirate who's portrayed by Antonio Banderas. It changes from Krabs being the usual douchebag and Spongebob helping Plankton to all the protagonists working together to vanquish the main foe.

Plankton has some serious character development in this movie. At first he's his usual maniacal self but soon gradually begins to appreciate Spongebob and when he has the chance to steal the formula once and for all, he returns it to Krabs.

When they get super powers, it is kinda disturbing, especially Sandy being a giant lifelike squirrel. Also Patrick could've used a different power but it worked out especially with a hulk like Plankton.

In conclusion, it was a great movie and what a way to end the movie than with some Squidward interpretive dancing, eh?
