Most Overscored Gymnasts Ever
Way overscored on every single event in 99-2000, both her strong events vault and floor, and her garbage events bars and beam where she should have been scoring even lower than the Romanians.
Yuck, hated her gymnastics. Her floor gold in Sydney still pushes me off as she never deserved that one.
Rat faced! Horrible form on beam and bars, and awful dance on floor and beam.
Seems like a nice kid but I hated her gymnastics, and I hated how she cried and puted whenever she didn't get her way. Very Royz Galieva like.
Did not deserve either her 93 or 94 World AA titles, should have been 3rd at both. Did not deserve her silver AA at the 92 Olympics, deserved 4th. Her floor title at the 93 worlds was a big joke, Dawes who should have won that year wasn't even in finals due to overscoring of Miller and Strug. Did deserve her beam gold in Atlanta though, as well as her bars gold at the 93 worlds.
Fugly mess of a gymnast, her beam was the ugliest ever, and even her tumbling form and dance on floor (probably still her best event, lol) were atrocious. And her constant whining about being wrongly in shadow, grow up, you just aren't that good and the quality of your gymnastics pales badly in comparision to Miller, Zmeskal, Okino, and the Dominiques. Jaycie Phelps, Amy Chow, Amanda Borden, Wendy Bruce, Sandy Woolsley, were in reality better gymnasts too, they just didn't have Bela, hype, and politics behind them like you did. Too famous for one vault.
Like her but really overscored in 95-96 for the quality of her gymnastics. Could have won a lot more medals if she didn't screw up in big competitions.
So overhyped. The funny thing is she improved in 98 but was scoring lower.
Love her but she got a lot of gifts. Almost every vault score she ever received, I laugh at the bad press Nelli Kim got for giving her a 9.8 on vault when that is the kind of score she should be receiving every time on vault. All 3 of her golds at her final worlds in 89 were bogus and undeserved, like a going away gift.
She didn't deserve any of her 3 golds in Seoul. Bars should be Dagmar Kersten. Beam should be Phoebe Mills. Floor should be Dudneva. And her 3 golds at the 89 worlds were the biggest farce ever. The judges even made 2 ties on purpose just to make sure she was part of a gold.
I have her here mostly for her going away gift golds a the 97 worlds, similar to Silivas in 89, except unlike Silivas she doesn't have the legend or greatness to even half justify the gift giving. Was robbed of the 93 world AA title which wrongfully went to Miller who messed up her beam dismount, but got many other gifts over the years.
She never did the more than the bare minimum to be out of a 10. Horrible gymnasts.
She should be higher than this for the debacle of the 97 beam at worlds alone.

91 world AA title was bogus and only due to being in the U.S. Other than that was scored mostly fine, but I can never forget that.
If she got the form deductions she deserves her E scores would be in the 7s and she could never medal on anything.
