I live in a family where I'm probably the person who loves hip-hop the most. Besides my auntie from my mom's side, here are a few rap songs you'll most likely be hearing me listen to all the time!

The Top Ten
It Takes Two - Rob Base & DJ EZ Rock

One of our very favorite rap classics. I can see why, as well!

The Humpty Dance - Digital Underground

Oh, yeah another one of our favorites. Mom can rap this song word-for-word. I can't even do that. I got most of the 1st verse down, though.

Segment of the Lyrics:
Alright stop what you're doing 'cause I'm about to ruin
The image and the style that you're used to
I look funny, but yo I'm money
See, so your world, I hope you're ready for me

Jump Around - House of Pain

I've only heard this song a million times. Even in movies like "Happy Gilmore" I've heard this song plenty of times!

Insane In the Brain - Cypress Hill

I have this one on my iTunes. Never gets old.

Fun Fact: This song samples a song called "Good Guys Only Win in the Movies" where the horse just comes in and starts making noise. The sound was a HORSE all along!

Dear Mama - 2Pac

This song I can remember from back when I was just a little kid. Heard the song many times since.

Mama Said Knock You Out - LL COOL J

Another one that my parents (mostly mom) really likes. Once this song comes on, mom turns the speaker way up!

It's Tricky - Run-DMC

A song that was around when my parents were just kids. Which is why this song is higher up on the list.

Thrift Shop (feat. Wanz)

One of the more modern rap songs that we like. I blast this song whenever I hear it.

Ice Ice Baby - Vanilla Ice

I know, this song is a little bit corny and it rips off "Under Pressure," but this song isn't actually that bad.

Paul Revere - Beastie Boys

Oh yeah, another one from when my parents were kids. Mom is the one that likes this song, though. Not dad.

The Contenders
U Can't Touch This - MC Hammer

Not much to say about this one. It's just a classic. We like it, so yeah...

Rapper's Delight - The Sugarhill Gang

The first hip-hop song! We like it because it's catchy, has a disco tune to it, samples "Good Times," which is a classic (I heard that song first...), and it's the first rap song.

Nuthin' But a G Thang - Dr Dre

This is one of the most memorable gangsta rap songs bar none. This is one I blast with the windows down whenever in the car.

Gangsta's Paradise - Coolio

I first heard this song in the car by myself. I forget where I was at, but I admitted I really liked it. I was just a kid.

The Message - Grandmaster Flash & the Furious Five

This one is gold! Another one that goes way back to hip-hop's early years.

Baby Got Back - Sir Mix-A-lot

Another rap song that we like to blast in the car.

Hip Hop Hooray - Naughty by Nature

Naughty By Nature's best song along with O.P.P.. They are both really good songs.

Gonna Make You Sweat (Everybody Dance Now) - C+C Music Factory

A classic that everyone likes.

Boyz-N-The-Hood - Eazy-E

Cruisin' down the street in my six four...

Who Am I (What's My Name?) - Snoop Dogg

One of the best songs by Snoop Dogg. I would've added "Gin and Juice" but this one is just a little bit better...

Big Poppa - The Notorious B.I.G.

For anyone wondering why he's on my favorite singer box. He can actually sing, really good. Look up him singing "Jodeci." He sings beautifuly!

Gold Digger - Kanye West
Pound the Alarm - Nicki Minaj
How I Could Just Kill a Man - Cypress Hill
I Got 5 on It - Luniz
