Sorry that I made this list late. Since 2019 is here, let’s take a look at the upcoming films of this year that I’m excited to see!
Of course, this is everyone’s most anticipated film of the year! Mine too! After Infinity War ended in such a big cliffhanger, we were all dying to see what will happen to these characters! The trailer looks outstanding! In my opinion, that should be the only trailer for the film because it doesn’t even spoil anything! I have a feeling that this might be even better than Infinity War! Definitely seeing this on the first day it comes out!
Looks cool
This is my second most anticipated film of this year! I really loved the 2014 film! I hope they can make this even better. And Eleven is in the film! So that’s a plus! The designs on the monsters look fantastic! The trailers look very intense! And a few characters from the last film returns in this one! Like Ken Watanabe’s character, and Sally Hawkins’ character! I can’t wait to see Godzilla and King Ghidorah battle on the big screen!
A fans' true wet dream...I can't stop watching this!
Hope this can be better than The Last Jedi. I don’t hate it as much as everyone else, but I was underwhelmed by it. That film had so much problems. I think this will be great since J.J. Abramms will be back to direct it which he also directed The Force Awakens. Also, it may be emotional since Carrie Fisher who played Princess Leia died and we may see her in flashbacks. Can’t wait to see how this trilogy will end.
If the Star Wars fans will not stop talking about this movie like they did with Star Wars 7 within a short period of time, I will come back here and spoil the ending to piss everyone off because I purposely searched it up like I did with Frozen 2 and spoiled it for Frozen haters. I purposely spoiled this movie to a Star Wars hater because that person requested it when I asked permission. To healthy fans, go watch the movie as soon as possible before I start spoiling it for the toxic portion. Come to think about it, a lot of you are too nice, I am now only joking about coming here and spoiling this for you but seriously, please do not be a toxic fan and ramble on about it all day because if you do, I might consider spoiling it for you specifically.
I hope J.J Abrahams can make Star Wars great agian
This is my most anticipated animated film of this year! The film now looks very interesting in my opinion! Tim Allen and Tom Hanks both said that the ending will be very emotional! Probably even sadder than the third film! He also said that he compared the ending to Infinity War. So, is a toy gonna die? Anyway, I hope they can make this great as the first three, and not be ruined like Ice Age and Shrek.
This is the movie I am overall most anticipated for
This franchise is amazing! The first two films were amazing! Here’s to hoping that this will be great as well! In the film, Hiccup realizes that Toothless is not the only night fury since they come across a light fury, and they also discover a hidden dragon world! And it looks gorgeous! They also said that Hiccup and Toothless will part ways, meaning an emotional goodbye. Looks like I’m gonna bring a box of tissues on that day. Hope this can be the Toy Story 3 of 2019! This franchise is one of DreamWorks’ best! It had a great run for the past nine years!
Second most anticipated movie of the year
Homecoming was great, but it wasn’t amazing. I think this can be better than the first film. We haven’t even seen a trailer yet, but we do know what it’s about. It will follow the events after Endgame, as Peter and his friends go to Europe for summer vacation. Mysterio will also appear in the film since he is such an iconic villian! Can’t wait to see what happens here!
I am very anticipated for this movie, as it's Spider-Man
I really liked the first IT. I thought it was really scary, had likable characters, it was a perfect example on how you do a horror remake, and Bill Skarsgård gave the best Pennywise! This sequel will take place 27 years after the first film, and The Losers Club are now grown up. It was also have one of the book’s scariest scene! I’m excited to see this sequel! We all float down here!
I’m hoping this will be a good DC film since their films has turn out to be disappointing. Wonder Woman being their best film, and their worst being Suicide Squad. The trailer look hilarious. Everything looks great. The performances, the characters, and the story. That transformation scene in the trailers is awesome! Hope this can be an enjoyable film.
Yep, I’m actually quite excited for this film. Reason why is the director, Thurop Van Orman! He created great T.V. shows like Powerpuff Girls, The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy, Camp Lazlo, and Flapjack! So he might end up doing a great job with this sequel! We know nothing about the film’s plot, and we haven’t seen a trailer yet. But we know that most of the actors from the first film will return, along with new ones like Awkwafina, Dove Cameron, and unfortunately, Nicki Minaj. Why? Overall, I’m very curious to see what this sequel can do.
I really don’t get why people aren’t excited for this film. I’m excited for this! This will be Marvel’s first female lead. Which I think that’s the reason why people aren’t excited. This will also be similar to CA: The First Avenger since it takes place years in the past. We also see a younger version of Nick Fury, back when he didn’t have an eyepatch. Can’t wait to see the film. And after that, the biggest event will come!
