Top 10 Head Turners In EDM, Because They're So Damn Good
I'm back and my tastes have changed again, so I'm going to have 10 of my favorite songs from the past few months displayed here. This may go on every few months, and I'll have to find a creative new title for the next one, but enjoy this one! Especially if you haven't heard these songs yet.One of my favorite songs used to be "rock + roll". That gradually changed to me listening to Circles more. I think it defines me more PERSONALLY, as in my personal life, and how I feel. rock + roll defines my aspirations as an artist.
I've always been a fan of Sub Zero Project, but being a big watcher of TopEDM before he shut down his channel, I was a little skeptical of Timmy Trumpet. This song, however, was amazing. Raw Hardstyle has never been so good.
EDM aside, I love P! ATD. High Hopes is a really good song that wakes me up and gets me through the day. I heard there was a White Panda remix, and listening to it gave me even more feels than the original. Good job!
5 minutes of Progressive House, and a breakthrough for Project 46. Andrew Allen's vocals blend really well with the piano chords and the melody in general.
The only reason this song is here is because of the vocals. So weird, it's funny. Had me laughing for a while, haha.
Leaving Earth, off of Seven Lions' album Creation, is a true emotional rollercoaster. I could get lost in the melody, imagine myself running away from the challenges of life and finding peace of mind.
As far as I could tell, this is the only single The Lurk has done so far. What a way to go in, though! Amazing melody that made me wanna jump and tear up at the same time.
When I first listened to this song, it seemed like just another Future Bass song. Then the second drop hits into Trap territory, with the BASS, and threw me off guard. Only expected of Dim Mak Records.
AllttA is an electronic hip-hop duo composed of West Coast rapper Mr. J. Medeiros and French producer 20syl. It's an experimental beat with a rap that seems more like it should be from the Midwest with talk about work. Really catchy though.
Lane 8 makes some really good house, and this was my first introduction to his music. Personally, the reason it's so low on this list is because I can't listen to 7 straight minutes of House. That gets boring after a while.
