AKA "Reasons Why This Film Is Considered As Overrated As It Is"

The Top Ten
1 Character quantity over character quality, not to mention having huge advertising campaigns for characters that barely even appear in the actual movie in the first place (Hulk and Black Panther, for instance)

As much as I'm glad that this film managed to handle it so gracefully compared to most others of its genre, over-stuffing ANY superhero movie with characters (especially villains) is generally NEVER a good idea; just ask Batman & Robin (also, seriously, this film really, really, REALLY needs to chill the Hell out with its merchandise, even by superhero schlock standards)

2 Obviously fake death scenes that the movie seemingly expects the audience to believe are real despite the fact that the production schedule of the film's creators clearly states otherwise

2018: "Mr. Stark, I don't feel so good" - Peter Parker

2019: Spider-Man: Far From Home is already scheduled to come out as a sequel to Avengers Endgame

3 The heroes having easily at least a hundred different opportunities to defeat the main villain but completely ignoring them because they "aren't part of the designated prophecy" (Dr. Strange's in this case)

Personally, Ant-Man and the Wasp should have gone into the head if you know what I'm saying (unzip, pant)

4 Nearly all of the characters being completely invincible due to how thickly their plot armor has been laid on by the writers

"If you throw another moon at me, I am going to be SERIOUSLY ticked off" - Tony Stark

5 Blatant emotional manipulation of the audience by threatening to kill characters that they've developed nostalgic attachments to; imagine how Toy Story 3 did it except far worse

"I hope comic nerds remember how pitifully they cried over you" - Thanos

6 Early-middle-school level and completely unfunny humor

Having the main cast from Guardians Of The Galaxy featured doesn't exactly help its case either

7 Long, drawn-out and insanely predictable twist ending just for the sake of having one

Yeah, yeah, Marvel, we get it; your fancy CGI body-disintegration effect is indeed kind of cool

8 Main villain who is a giant CGI monster that wants to destroy the world

I mean, granted, at least THIS one (Thanos) actually has properly fleshed-out motivations behind wanting to do so, but that still hardly changes the fact that this movie's incarnation of him is basically just an intergalactic, superpowered, purple-skinned, maskless, American-accented, yeezy-chinned, Infinity-Gauntlet-wearing Dark Knight Rises Bane

9 Completely over-dramatic title that makes the film sound vastly bigger and more in-depth than it actually is

Yes, I do get that it's referring to the Infinity Stones, but STILL

10 Extreme over-usage of CGI graphics

To the point where they statistically took up literally about 95% of the film's visual output as a whole
