Top 10 Main Protagonists from Animated Shows
Every TV show has a main protagonist or two, and on this list, we'll be counting down the best main protagonists from animated TV shows. Do not add supporting characters like Patrick Star, Grunkle Stan, Zuko, etc. because they are not the main protagonists, they are supporting protagonists. Oh, and also if a show has a villain protagonist, they're aloud on this list too because they're still the main character, example: Zim (Invader Zim). So basically any main character from an animated TV show is aloud on this list. SPOILERS AHEAD.
Avatar Aang is a fictional character and the protagonist of Nickelodeon's animated television series Avatar: The Last Airbender, voiced by Zach Tyler Eisen. Aang is the last surviving Airbender, a monk of the Air Nomads' Southern Air Temple. So basically, you all probably know by now that Avatar: The Last Airbender is my favorite cartoon. Twinkle Toes is my second favorite character from the show. He is brave, heroic, and optimistic. He defeated the fire lord at age 12 (technically age 112 but you get the idea). Oh, and he's sort of inspiring.
I’m so used to bland main characters in pretty much every show, movie, book, etc (Sorry Stranger Things, but even Mike suffers from this), but then there’s Aang, the most realistic protagonist in any show ever. Especially one about the ability to bend (simplified) elements and a flying bison.
Aang is one of the most likable and well developed characters in Avatar, and especially in all of animation.

SpongeBob SquarePants is a fictional character and the titular character and protagonist of the American animated television series of the same name. SpongeBob is a very famous character, no where near the fame of Bugs Bunny but still very famous, he is a happy-going sea sponge who is very lovable even though he is annoying sometimes and acts like a complete douchebag! sometimes *cough cough A Pal for Gary cough cough*. But still, he has his gold moments in the first three seasons, especially season 2.

Mabel Pines is one of the lead characters of the Disney XD animated series Gravity Falls. The character is voiced by Kristen Schaal, and designed by the series creator, Alex Hirsch. She is inspired by Hirsch's own twin sister, Ariel Hirsch. She is a caring, boy-crazy 12 year old girl that spent the summer in the strange town of Gravity Falls, Oregon. She is very emotional and cares a lot for her brother Dipper. Dipper is better but Mabel is still awesome! Mabel is sometimes selfish but is still a very kind character who will help Dipper to the end, they're a great sibling duo.

He is one of (if not) the most famous cartoon characters, and he is in the show Looney Tunes. His famous quote is "What's up doc?". He is a gray colored bunny with big teeth and big feet. His favorite food is carrots. Bugs Bunny! Everyone's favorite classic rabbit including mine! He is very famous now and first appeared in the 1930s! Wow! This bunny has so many famous quotes/lines and I bet you can quote one right now. "What's up doc? ", " Gee, ain't I a stinker? ", and many more quotes/lines! He is impossible to hate and arguably the most recognizable cartoon character of all time!

He may sometimes seem like a jerk who doesn't care and is selfish but he's proven he's a hero and he has a heart multiple times
