Any list like this that does not have Elvis Presley at #1 is incorrect, and ignorant of history.
Elvis has sold more than double the number of records that MJ has sold, and Elvis also has more #1 singles and more #1 albums; all of this during an era when the potential record-buying market was much smaller. In fact, in USA sales, MJ is only the #7 selling music artist of all time, he is not even ahead of Billy Joel.
Michael Jackson spent his life "wishing" he was Elvis Presley.
MJ pales in the shadow of Elvis.

However, Frank was a beacon of light during the dark years of WW2, and his post-war "Bobby Soxer" fandom became the basis of teenage culture right up until the present.
Frank also had a fine movie career, including Oscar nods, which more than eclipses MJ's groundbreaking video productions.
