Top 10 Male Fictional Characters of the 2000s

Continuing with this series its time to move to the 2000 decade 2000-2009 as we look back at the best male characters from that decade from movies, video games, books etc., and to be clear the characters don't necessarily have to debut in the 2000 decade just as long as they appeared in any shape or form in either media.

1 Zuko - Avatar the Last Airbender Prince Zuko is a fictional character in Nickelodeon's animated television series Avatar: The Last Airbender. Zuko is a master firebender and his younger sister is Azula . He is the son of Prince Ozai and Princess Ursa .

In my opinion Zuko was the best character on the show as he had the most interesting and saddest back stories, seen as a failure in the eyes of his father Zuko is banished from his homeworld and sent to hunt the avatar Aang and along the way Zuko fights a battle with in himself deciding wither to follow a path his father has instilled in him or finding his own path all with a little guidance by his uncle Iroh who occupancies him on his journey.

2 Edward Elric - Full Metal Alchemist Edward Elric, commonly nicknamed Ed, is a fictional character and the protagonist of the Fullmetal Alchemist manga series and its adaptations created by Hiromu Arakawa.

One of the main character from one of my favorite anime series Fullmetal Alchemist though a bit arrogant and pushy he does have a lot of heart and willing to help anyone in need of his help mainly his younger brother Al who lost his whole body after failing to bring their dead mother back to life with Ed losing a leg before sacrificing one his arms to transfer Al's soul to a suit of armor which then leads him and Al to go on a perilous journey to try and get their bodies back which is no easy task considering the many dangers that stand in their way.

The star of the Halo series beginning on the original X-Box and in many ways one of X-box's unofficial mascots.

7 Toad - Mario Tennis Toad, known in Japan as Kinopio, is a major character in the Mario Bros. franchise. He assists Princess Peach in the Mushroom Kingdom and will do whatever it takes to help her. 10 Leon S. Kennedy - Resident Evil 4 Leon Scott Kennedy is a fictional character in the Resident Evil horror media franchise by Capcom. He debuted as one of the two playable protagonists of the video game Resident Evil 2.
