The Top Ten
1 Gerard Way
Gerard Arthur Way is an American singer, songwriter, musician, and comic book writer who was the lead vocalist and co-founder of the American alternative rock band My Chemical Romance from its formation in September 2001 until its split in March 2013. His debut solo album Hesitant Alien was released ...read more.
Gerard Arthur Way's claim to fame is being the foreman of the alternative rock band My Chemical Romance. The reason I rate him this highly is that no matter how he's vocalizing: screaming or barking lyrics or just plain singing, he sounds great. His singing voice is nothing short of unique: varied, but you know who it is as soon as you hear it. Another merit is Way's amazing, charasmatic stage presence that you don't even have to see him live to know is apparent. Good on ya', Gerard! - KilljoyRainbow
2 Adam Levine
Adam Noah Levine is an American singer and songwriter. He is the lead vocalist for the Los Angeles pop rock band Maroon 5.
No matter what sort of music you're into, you have to admit Levine's voice is something magical. - KilljoyRainbow
3 Frank Iero
Frank Anthony Iero, Jr. is a musician who was the rhythm guitarist and backup vocalist of the alternative rock band My Chemical Romance as well as the vocalist of the post-hardcore band Leathermouth and electronic-hardcore act Death Spells.
A close second to Way is Frank Anthony Iero II. Iero has been quite involved in the music scene: as singer in the band Pencey Prep, rhythm guitarist for aforementioned My Chemical Romance, lead screamer in the project LeATHERMOUTH, and much more; the varied musical talent right there has to get him some recognition. His style is very unique, involving a mixture of spoken word, violent screaming, and a sort of baleful crooning that betrays his truly angelic singing voice. You don't run into someone like this very often. - KilljoyRainbow
4 Bill Kaulitz
Bill Kaulitz-Trümper, sometimes using the pseudonym Billy, is a German singer-songwriter born on September 1, 1989, best known for being the frontman, lead singer and writer of multi-platinum winning pop rock band Tokio Hotel. During the time his band was most popular in Germany, which was in the mid-to-late ...read more.
It's not very often you run into a slightly feminine bombshell like Kaulitz here, the foreman of the German band Tokio Hotel. Kaulitz's high vocals can put Justin Beiber's 'Baby' to shame! It's really a wonder this guy isn't more popular than he is. The only reason I don't put him any higher is because his style, though angelic, is not the most varied. - KilljoyRainbow
5 Ray Toro
Raymond "Ray" Toro is an American musician who served as lead guitarist and backing vocalist of the band My Chemical Romance until their split in 2013.
Raymond Toro isn't very well known singing-wise; this is because up until recently he was the lead guitarist for My Chemical Romance. Now, please let me stop it with Ray here for a moment. I know some of you are thinking that I'm My Chemical Romance-obsessed and I'm letting this affect this top 10. Remember, this is my opinion. Toro has one of those rare voices where you can't detect any imperfections whatsoever. That's why he's up here. - KilljoyRainbow

Now, I'm cheating a little bit here since Dahaveie's more of a rapper/screamer/crunker than a 'singer'. However, you've got to admit he's got a signature style with that high voice of his, as well as an interesting stage presence and presence in general. - KilljoyRainbow

20 Marilyn Manson
Brian Hugh Warner, better known by his stage name Marilyn Manson, is an American musician, songwriter, actor, painter, multimedia artist, author, and former music journalist.
Now, I know that Manson here is a somewhat controversial figure. But regardless, he's like the World War II of metal/rock music: you might not like him, but it just wouldn't be the same without him. He's good enough to spawn many knockoffs, a more popular one being Lady GaGa. - KilljoyRainbow
