Top 10 Best Male Vocalists

This list is my thoughts on who combines pitch, range, quality, endurance & other factors. It is quite eclectic as a result of being born in 1956 & being exposed to a wide range if vocalists & genres. A product of parents who encouraged us to become involved at an early age you will find vocalists from as early as the 1920s through the mid 1980s.

The Top Ten

Freddie Mercury Freddie Mercury (born Farrokh Bulsara, 5th September 1946 - 24th November 1991) was a Zanzibari-born British singer of Indian descent, songwriter and record producer, known as the lead vocalist and songwriter of the British rock band Queen. He also became known for his flamboyant stage persona and four-octave more.

I am in awe of this man's vocal range. He really sang his heart out.
I have added Carl Wilson and a couple others to your most excellent list, anonymous.

I feel like fainting whenever I hear him sing.

Adam Lambert Adam Mitchel Lambert is an American singer, songwriter and stage actor. Since 2009, he has sold over 2.5 million albums and 5 million singles worldwide.

Oh my God! This man is truly incredible. I’ve been lucky enough to meet him and what you see, is truly what you get. And vocally?!?! The control that Adam has, and even stylistically he can do it all. It’s no secret how talented he is since Queen asked him to front the band. It showcases his talent perfectly, also allowing him to express himself. I’m always shocked that Adam isn’t as popular as he should be. He should be on the radio, he should win Grammys and get the recognition he deserves because honestly, Adam can do it all and more. He is underrated like I’ve never seen before, and man I cannot wait to see him with Queen in July, AND HIS NEW ALBUM! ❤️
