Top Ten Mario Characters that Should Be in Mario Kart Tour

NOTE: This is not the same as the Characters That Should Be In Mario Kart 9 list, because that includes other Nintendo characters as well
The Top Ten
1 E. Gadd

I'm surprised he wasn't added in the Halloween Tour

2 Donkey Kong Jr.

It only makes sense to add Donkey Kong Jr into Mario Kart Tour. After all Donkey Kong Jr was part of the roster for the game Super Mario Kart the game started the entire Mario Kart Franchise. I think that DK Jr should be added along with any other character that is added in the tour that falls on the week of August 27th to honor the 28th anniversary of Super Mario Kart.

3 King Bob-omb King Bob-omb became a recurring boss in later games, specifically spin off games such as Mario Party 9 and Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam.
4 Topper
5 Paratroopa Koopa Paratroopas, also known as Sky Troopas, Para-Koopas, or simply Paratroopas, are winged versions of the Koopa Troopa in the Mario franchise. They lose their wings when they are stomped or jumped on in the air, turning them into normal Koopa Troopas.

Hasn't appeared since Double Dash.

That would be cool if he came to mario kart tour, he was only in mario kart double dash

6 Petey Piranha Petey Piranha is a large mutant of the Piranha Plant in the Super Mario franchise and debuted in Super Mario Sunshine. Since then, he has been a recurring boss in games such as New Super Mario Bros. and has also made appearances in sports and spin-off games.

Hasn't appeared since Double Dash so it would be cool to see him again. His special item could be the Piranha Plant.

That would be cool he was only in double dash, they should add him to mario kart tour

7 Spewart

That would be cool if he joined in mario kart tour in the future

8 Pauline Pauline, also known as Daniella Verducci, is the original damsel-in-distress whom Mario must rescue from the eponymous ape in the original Donkey Kong.

Oh yeah definitely.

9 Luigi Luigi, originally a palette swap of Mario named Green Mario, is a major character featured in video games and related media released by Nintendo. Created by prominent game designer Shigeru Miyamoto, Luigi is portrayed as the slightly younger, taller fraternal twin brother of Nintendo's unofficial mascot Mario, and appears in many games throughout the Super Mario franchise, often as a sidekick to his... read more

Ya know, normally I'd get pissed off over the fact that Luigi, one of the main characters of the series, is not in the game, while the baby characters and Metal Mario and Musician Mario and Peachette are, but honestly, I can't even bring myself to get angry about it. At this point, this is the sort of ridiculous, braindead decision I'd expect Nintendo to make with their Mario Kart roster.

Oh the disappointment here, 2 years later

10 Yoshi Yoshi, once romanized as Yossy, is a fictional anthropomorphic dinosaur who appears in video games published by Nintendo. Often appearing as a sidekick and helper to Mario, Yoshi is most known for his appearances in the Yoshi's Island and the Super Mario franchises.

Best combo: Yoshi, turbo Yoshi, bullet bill parachute. By the way Pauline is in Mario Kart tour.

The Contenders
11 Toadsworth
12 Boom Boom
13 Wario Wario is a character in Nintendo's Mario series who was originally designed as an antagonist to Mario. His motives are driven by greed and he will take the side of whoever will give him the most pay. Although he may seem like just a mean man with no heart, he does have a very tragic past.

Apparently it was more important to have clone characters and babies in the roster at launch, but not the two anti Mario Bros, Rosalina, Bowser Jr, and Luigi. K, makes sense.

14 Waluigi Waluigi is a lanky self-centered, brusque young lad as he is considered evil and the main rival of Luigi. Waluigi is shown causing local havoc in most games he appears in alongside his partner Wario. Waluigi is not instinctively evil or the antagonist (not counting DDR), as a matter of fact, he shows ...read more.
15 Pom Pom
16 Mario Mario, originally named Jumpman, is the main character of the Super Mario Bros. franchise, created by the creative director and video game designer at Nintendo of Japan, Shigeru Miyamoto. Mario has appeared in almost every Mario game, including games in spin-off series as a playable character, with few exceptions including New Super Luigi U, Luigi's Mansion games, Yoshi's Island games, and similar counterparts. He is the most iconic character in video game history and is Nintendo's unofficial mascot. His franchise has grown to be the most successful video game franchise of all time.

He obviously will be, but I'm just putting him here because of that

I mean it wouldn't be Mario kart without the main star himself

Well, he should be. How can you have Mario Kart without Mario?

17 Bowser Jr. Bowser Jr., or sometimes simply Jr., is a video game character who appears in Nintendo's Mario franchise as the secondary antagonist. He is the youngest son of the series' primary antagonist, Bowser.

I just saw the recent trailer. Bowser Jr's back with his Bullet Blaster kart from Double Dash!

18 Donkey Kong Donkey Kong is an arcade game released by Nintendo in 1981. It is an early example of the platform game genre, as the gameplay focuses on maneuvering the main character across a series of platforms while dodging and jumping over obstacles.

Why is this stuck in 12 when yoshi is in 1

19 Peach Princess Peach is a major character in the Mario Bros. Franchise. She is the lead female of the The Mario franchise. 20 Rosalina Rosalina, known as Rosetta in Japan, is a major character in the Mario Franchise created by Nintendo. She first appeared in the 2007 Mario Game, Super Mario Galaxy for the Nintendo Wii and later returned for the game's sequel in 2010. Since then, she has been featured in many main-series Mario Games and many spinoffs. She has appeared as a playable character in Super Mario 3D World for the Nintendo Wii U in 2013 and is a playable character in the Mario Kart series and Mario Party series. She also has come into Super Smash Bros. for Wii U/3DS as a part of the large character roster.
21 Monty Mole
22 Cranky Kong
23 Bowser Bowser is the main antagonist of the Mario Bros. Franchise. From kidnapping Princess Peach to simply destroying a fun game between Mario and Friends in the Mario Party spinoff series, this king of the Koopas has set up a certain hatred towards himself amongst the large cast of Mario Characters. He first appeared in the 1985 popular videogame, Super Mario Bros., in which he was responsible for kidnapping Princess Toadstool (more commonly known as Princess Peach), which was released in Arcades and on the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) Videogame System.

Well, I have him.

24 King Boo In the Super Mario series, King Boo is the leader of all the Boos and a major antagonist. He is an ally of King Bowser. He is depicted as a large white Boo with a crown similar to that of Princess Peach. In the Luigi's Mansion series, King Boo serves as the main antagonist and Luigi's arch-nemesis. He is depicted as gargantuan, even larger than his Super Mario counterpart, with darker eyes, a purple tongue and pupils, and a golden crown with a corrupted power-enhancing jewel. He is considered to be one of the series' most evil villains.
25 Diddy Kong Diddy Kong is a fictional character in the Donkey Kong series of video games, first appearing in the 1994 game Donkey Kong Country.
