Best Mario Party 2 Music

The Top Ten
1 Western Land

Clearly the best song of Mario Party 2, and one of the catchiest tune from any Mario Party game. It's got a really happy and upbeat vibe to it, and the melody is easy to remember while also being really good. Fits really well with the Western board as well. I especially love the first three seconds of it. It's so good it got brought back in Super Mario Party for the minigame Rhythm and Bruise.

2 Space Land

A really good song, especially for an N64 game. It could rival the music of Galaxy and Party 9..., if it had an orchestra. It's really epic overall and really gives off the vibe of a space adventure. It's the one thing that makes the board at least somewhat bearable.

3 The Blue Skies Yonder

The best minigame song of the game. It's happy, catchy and has good instruments which remind me a bit of Western Land.

4 Going Somewhere

This is the song most reminiscent of Mario Party: Island Tour, and specifically the song "It's an Adventure " and on that basis alone it earns a high spot on the list. It's adventurous, happy, and almost a bit nostalgic.

5 Horror Land

Pretty good song overall. It fits the spooky theme of Horror Land, although I don't really think it's as scary as it should be. But either way. it's really catchy and deserves a spot on this list.

6 In the Pipe
7 Couldn't Be Better
8 Mystery Land

This song is super mysterious and uncharted which is why I love it. It's got that perfect obscure jungle vibe to it, which really fits my favourite board in the game. Overall it's one of the best songs as well.

9 Title Screen

Pretty memorable and catchy title theme. Not the best in the series, but it's pretty good, and gives off a happy partying vibe.

10 Welcome to Mario Land

Pretty cool song which isn't too quiet but not too chaotic either, which is good for the menu theme.

The Contenders
11 Walking Underwater
12 Pirate Land

This song is ok. It's not particularly "piraty", but it's nice to listen to, and still has got that caribbean-island vibe with those steel drums, as it feels like you're on a beach, which is fitting for the first board in the game. Overall, it's a cool song.

13 Bowser Land

It's a meh song. It tries to sound like those castle levels with lava in the main series, but at the same time, it's a little too quiet for any stakes to be raised high. Not bad but I could care less.
