Top 10 Marvel Cinematic Universe End Credits ScenesWARNING: This list might contain spoilers! Just letting you know. Anyway, as many of us know, each Marvel film has a post credits scene. Some of them give us hints about a future movie and others are just there for fun. So let's talk about the best end credits scenes in the Marvel Cinematic Universe!
The Top Ten Marvel Cinematic Universe End Credits Scenes
This is the very first end credits scene in the MCU and a very great one! This is basically what started it all! Nick Fury talks to Tony Stark about wanting to create a very powerful team that could save the Earth! A team that could defeat villains like the chitauri and Donald Trump! And thus the Avengers were created! And throughout this universe, we got see more about the characters and got to see their origin stories and we eventually got see them working together! This post credits scene is definitely important! Unfortunately, since this was the first one in the MCU, not a lot of people were expecting it. Even to this day there are still people who walk out of the theater during the credits of a Marvel film! Like, seriously! What the heck? - MegaSoulhero
Infinity war. where is it.
I'm always quoting this
It's about time! Up to this point, we haven't seen Thanos do anything! He's just been sitting around, acting all menacing. But in this mid credits scene, which is the only end credits scene in Age of Ultron by the way, we see Thanos pick up the Infinity Guantlet! This will play a huge part in the upcoming Avengers film, Infinity War! Thanos will be the main antagonist of that film! Should be very awesome! - MegaSoulhero
Captain America: Civil War is the best movie in the MCU! One thing I liked about it was Black Panther! Which is ironic since I hate cats. In the mid credits scene, we are given our first look at Wakanda. The country in which T'Challa comes from! This is to get us excited for the upcoming Black Panther film which comes out in 2018! Black Panther is one of the best Marvel superheroes ever! - MegaSoulhero
It's been a common thing to point out that the villains in the MCU are not very good. Most of them are pretty weak and pose no threat. So far the only good villain we got was Loki. But then in the mid credits scene of Avengers, we are introduced to the most badass villain in the MCU, Thanos! We only see a glimpse of him here, but we actually got to see more of him in Guardians of the Galaxy! Unfortunately, he doesn't really do anything there. But then we see him in Age of Ultron and he is shown to be picking up the Infinity Guantlet! It will be great to see him have a bigger part in one of these movies! Only two more years until Infinity War! - MegaSoulhero
Well this is different. Instead of just showing some a little clip at the end of the credits, they showed us a clip from Avengers as well as a teaser for Avengers! This definitely got everyone excited! People have been wanting a movie about this superhero team for a long time and when it came out, we were not disappointed! The clip that they showed before the teaser was Nick Fury approaching Cap while he's training and tells him that the world is in trouble. So he's basically telling him to join the Avengers. The first Captain America movie may not have been great but the Avengers certainly was! - MegaSoulhero
(Nick Fury) "You've been asleep, Cap. For almost 70 years. You gonna be okay? " (Steve Rogers) "Yeah. Yeah, I just... I had a date." - Dylaphant
Should be higher.
Maybe learn to spell "shawarma" - LarkwingFlight
One of the most well known end credits scenes in the MCU is the Avengers eating some food known as shawarma. I don't know what shawarma is but maybe I should try some. After defeating Loki, Tony decides they should celebrate by going to get some shawarma. Which they end up doing. A little fun fact about this scene is that it was filmed 6 months after production.
EDIT: Oops! I spelled shawarma wrong! Sorry about that! - MegaSoulhero
This is an EXTREMELY important end credits scene! Because we are introduced to the infinity stones which play a big part in the MCU! This is also the first appearance of the Collector from Guardians of the Galaxy. Throughout the films, we are introduced to a new infinity stone. The tesseract from Thor, the scepter from Avengers, the aether from Thor: The Dark World, the orb from Guardians of the Galaxy, and the Eye of Agamotto from Doctor Strange. We still don't know what the 6th one will be but I can't wait to find out. - MegaSoulhero
I was originally gonna add the mid credits scene, the one with the Thor cameo, but I figured this one was more important. I saw a bunch of people leaving the theater before this scene showed up. This really should've been the mid-credits scene. In this post credits scene, Baron Mordo goes to visit Jonathan Pangborn. A guy who uses magic everyday so he could continue walking and the one who told Stephen Strange about Kamar-Taj. Mordo felt betrayed by the Ancient One so he finds Pangborn, attacks him, and takes away his magic, causing him to be crippled yet again. Mordo then says that the problem with the world is that there are too many sorcerers. So this movie was pretty much an origin story for both Doctor Strange and Baron Mordo. A Doctor Strange sequel hasn't officially been announced but we know it's coming. So Mordo will most likely be the main antagonist of that film. Doctor Strange is a pretty good movie! - MegaSoulhero
Hammer time! Something that most MCU end credits scenes like to do is get us excited for an upcoming movie. In this case, we see S.H.I.E.L.D. agent, Phil Coulson, find Thor's hammer which had fallen from Asgard. We already knew we were getting a Thor movie at the time but it was still great to get a first glance at the hammer. It made us want to know more and we wanted to see how it got to Earth. In my opinion, Thor isn't one of Marvel's best films and I personally thought The Dark World was better. Don't hurt me. But it was still very enjoyable! - MegaSoulhero
In the mid credits scene of Ant-Man, Hank Pym shows his daughter a prototype of a suit that he wants her to wear. This suit he shows her is the Wasp suit. This was done to set up the Ant-Man sequel, Ant-Man and the Wasp! I am very excited for that sequel! - MegaSoulhero
