Top 10 Matches from the WWE Greatest Royal Rumble

The Greatest Royal Rumble Event in Saudi Arabia happened a couple of days ago, and I'm pretty sure that we can all agree, it was pretty good but not as good as it could have been. So I have decided to rank every match that took place at the event! Luckily there were exactly 10.
The Top Ten
1 The Greatest Royal Rumble Match

50 men including Braun Strowman, Daniel Bryan, Hornswoggle, The Great Khali, Baron Corbin, Rey Mysterio, Randy Orton and Kurt Angle battled for over an hour in the Greatest Royal Rumble match. The match lasted for 1 hour, 17 minutes and 22 seconds, and Daniel Bryan, who entered at number 1, was in the match for 1 hour, 16 minutes and 5 seconds of that time, setting a Royal Rumble Record of longest time in a single rumble match, beating Rey Mysterio's 12 year old record of 1 hour, 2 minutes and 12 seconds. Braun Strowman, the eventual winner of the match entering at number 41, also broke a record. He beat Roman Reigns' record of 12 eliminations in a single rumble match which he set in 2014 with 13. The match was very exciting, however the entrants did seem quite rushed. The match was guaranteed to go at least an hour and 12 minutes, as 48 members of the match were entering after a 90 second countdown. Now I may be being bias here as he is currently my favourite wrestler, but I believe ...more

2 Cedric Alexander vs Kalisto - Cruiserweight Championship Match

This didn't have the great flow and fast paced action that we see from cruiserweights now-a-days but the spots in this match were very innovative and very cool to watch. The finish was great, with Kalisto setting up for the Salida Del Sol, but as he jumped he put himself in position for Cedric to pull him down in a Lumbar Check for the win.

Result: Cedric Alexander defeats Kalisto via pinfall and retains the Cruiserweight Championship.

My Star Rating: 4*/5

3 Seth Rollins vs The Miz vs Finn Balor vs Samoa Joe - Intercontinental Championship Fatal 4-Way Ladder Match

Now I don't understand why Samoa Joe was in this match but I didn't care. It just made the match better. Now in all honesty I did fall asleep during the match because the show started at 3 AM here but after watching it again I agree that it was a very good match. I really enjoyed the finish with Seth Rollins springboarding onto the ladder at the last second to save his title.
Result: Seth Rollins retains the Intercontinental Championship.

My Star Rating: 3.75*/5

4 AJ Styles vs Shinsuke Nakamura - WWE Championship Match

Not the best match these two have had... but DEFINITELY not the worst. This was a very well paced match that was a little bit disappointing but didn't bore me at any point. Also the double count out finish was very smart and continued the feud.
Result: AJ Styles retains the WWE Championship due to a double count out.
My Star Rating: 3.25*/5

5 John Cena vs Triple H

You can't get a bad match from these 2. Obviously it could've been better, but this was a good opener and we have nothing to complain about.
Result: John Cena defeats Triple H via Pinfall
My Star Rating: 3.25*/5

6 The Bludgeon Brothers vs The Usos - Smackdown Tag Team Championship Match

The length of this match was a little disappointing, with it lasting just over 5 minutes, but it was quite good for its length. Should've been longer but for what it was, it was decent.
Result: The Bludgeon Brothers defeated The Usos via Pinfall to retain the SmackDown Tag Team Championships.
My Star Rating: 2.75*/5

7 Undertaker vs Rusev - Casket Match

Taker was in great shape here. Sad to see Rusev get buried though. Just an average match really.
Result: Undertaker defeats Rusev
My Star Rating: 2.25*/5

8 Brock Lesnar vs Roman Reigns - Greatest Royal Rumble
9 The Bar vs The Deleters of Worlds - RAW Tag Team Championship Match

The outcome was obvious. With The Bar going to SmackDown, of course they weren't going to win the vacant RAW tag team titles. Nothing special happened here. Genuinely a bad match.
Result: The Deleters of Worlds defeated The Bar via Pinfall to become the new RAW Tag Team Champions
My Star Rating: 1.5*/5

10 Jeff Hardy vs Jinder Mahal - United States Championship Match
