Meanest Cartoon Characters of All Time

The Top Ten
1 Eric Cartman - South Park Eric Theodore Cartman, often referred to just by his surname, is a main character, as well as a major antagonist and occasional antihero in the animated television series South Park, created by Matt Stone and Trey Parker, and voiced by Parker. He is one of four central characters in South Park, along... read more

How is he not in the top 3! At least characters like Squidward (SpongeBob Squarepants), Benson (Regular Show), and Tom (Tom and Jerry) have the excuse of living an awful life or having characters who annoy them on purpose. Plus, they can occasionally be nice. When has Cartman even been nice unless he benefits from it? And don't even get me started on the horrendous things he's done. He's pretty much the cartoon version of Joffrey Baratheon from Game of Thrones: bratty, sadistic, and pure evil. The only other character that I could possibly see at number 1 is Ren from Ren and Stimpy "Adult Party Cartoon," and speaking of which, why isn't Ren (the Adult Party Version in particular) on this list? And why isn't he number 1?

2 Mr. Krabs - SpongeBob SquarePants Eugene H. Krabs, or simply Mr. Krabs, is a fictional character in the American animated television series SpongeBob SquarePants.

If you watched One Coarse Meal, My opinion on him went from good to BAD! Needs and deserves to be in rank 1 Cares too much about money. Everyone does though right? "Married to Money" is a REAL LIVE EPISODE of SpongeBob SquarePants. Plankton is also my favorite so to know Krabs is way too mean to Plankton is just..Wrong. Krabs is horrible and needs to go to school. Sport Krabs! You need to just cry a river, build a bridge, and get OVER IT! They should make "Mr. Krabs version of One Coarse Meal." Then I'll have a favorite episode. Krabs is my least favorite and note no villains, killers in the Bikini bottom world, and other evil fish are not included on my Least Favorite SpongeBob Characters. So I might need to stop taking up space. Adios.

3 Caillou - Caillou Caillou, which means "pebble" or "stone" in French, is the self-proclaimed "Prince of Imagination." He is a four-year-old boy who serves as the main protagonist of the TV series and books, both of which share his name... read more

Accuracy, it never misses.

Why did I say that? Because caillou is about as close to a completely accurate representation of four year olds everywhere. Whiny, snobby, selfish, and down right bossy. I have a nephew who's the same way, and I can tell you people, he's like a light skinned version of Caillou! I use to love this show as a kid, but when I looked back at all my favourite shows growing up, this had to've been the worst one.

He's so mean. Pinched a Newborn! His parents are so dumb. They didn't punish him.

If I were his father, I would've shipped him off to boot camp long ago.

4 Eustace Bagge - Courage the Cowardly Dog Eustace Bagge is a fictional character from the Cartoon Network animated series, Courage the Cowardly Dog.

Well, this guy often been grumpy and mad all the time ever since the squid made his first debut. The farmer who often scared and tormented an innocent cowardly pink canine and neglected his own wife by watching T.V. and reading newspapers without even care about. He also cared about being rich since he was holding some weird artifacts (such as a slab of King Ramses or an atomic carrot grew into a giant size). He often screwed up during or at the end of the episode which he deserved to get his horrifying fate which he does'nt have any memory of the incident.

But by the way, Eustace Bagge was a legend.

5 Peter Griffin - Family Guy Peter Griffin is the main protagonist and titular character of the American animated sitcom Family Guy.

He gave Stewie drugs, farts in Meg's face, tried to marry his son Chris to get money, he attempted to bond with Stweie by abusing and attempting to kills Lois, destroyed Brian's teeth, shot his own friend in the arm for no reason, shows no remorse for killing people or animals, and destroys other people's property without feeling guilt. I think he should be higher than Benson and Squidward. Neither of them are that bad. They're just mean because they're stuck in bad jobs with idiot co-workers/employees, and they still have a good side to their personalities. Peter has no reason to treat everyone as mean as he does. I know Family Guy has a lot of mean characters, but what has Cleaveland, Joe, or Mort Goldman done to deserve the way they are treated by Peter?

6 Squidward - Spongebob Squarepants Squidward Tentacles is a fictional character voiced by actor Rodger Bumpass in the American animated television series SpongeBob SquarePants.

The torture porns are NOT funny.

See, Squidward may not have been the most likeable character, or a particular favourite (I can't speak for everybody) but nowadays I find myself rooting for him more and more instead of, you know, Spongebob Squarepants - the main, titular character?

Everyone treats him like crap, no wonder his outlook on life is bitter and jaded. In the end; I don't blame Squidward - I don't always agree with the way he treats others, and he can still be as arrogant and as dickish as the rest of the cast at times, but he ALWAYS seems to get the worst end of it all.

Throw him a bone, eh writers?

7 Vicky - The Fairly OddParents

How is she not higher?! She literally tries to kill Timmy every time she babysits him. She is the cartoon version of Misty from Pokemon! Why? They are also really annoying gingers!

Vicky is an abusing "baby sitter" who only acts nice around Timmy's adults to be allowed to torture Timmy.

8 Chris McLean - Total Drama Chris McLean is a fictional character from the Total Drama Island series as the official host who makes the campers perform a series of challenges for immunity ranging from often humiliating to dangerous.

Chris McLean is the equivalent to an emperor who makes people die for entertainment. To explain, here is a list of some of Chris' sins: He dumped large amounts of chemical waste, he fed expired food to his contestants, and to top it off, he ENJOYS his contestants' torment.

Three quarters of the challenges he makes the contestants do aren't even legal.

Watch Season 4 and try not to rage. I should know. I failed.

9 Benson - Regular Show Benson Dunwoody is a main character on Cartoon Network's Regular Show. He is a gumball machine, also known as The Park's manager. As the manager, he is the boss of every park worker (with the possible exception of Pops). He has a short temper and has a tendency of yelling at Mordecai and Rigby every... read more

I've always hated him. He threatens to fire Mordecai and Rigby for oh so unforgivable offenses as singing or wanting to bail out of judging pies.

And he has no real excuse either. There are even episodes where he takes a sadistic glee in tormenting them (*cough*Best Burger in the World*cough*)

Actually, in a FEW episodes he was likable, This is my Jam, The Regular Show finale 2 parter, from 1 to 10 in not irritating, I would say 4.

I wouldn't say mean, he's more aggressive and irritable.

10 Brian Griffin - Family Guy Brian H. Griffin, popularly known without his middle initial as Brian Griffin, is a fictional character from the animated television series Family Guy.
The Contenders
11 Flippy - Happy Tree Friends Flippy is one of the main characters of the American adult animated web series, Happy Tree Friends, its spin-off series, Ka-Pow!, and a playable character in the False Alarm video game. He is also the final boss of the mobile game, Deadeye Derby... read more

Flippy is perfectly normal, but when his case of PTSD as a war veteran kicks in, he decides to kill everyone he sees violently.

Are you kidding? His career cost lots of lives and he even kills people.

12 Swiper - Dora the Explorer Swiper is the main antagonist in Dora the Explorer, appearing in nearly every single episode. He is a sneaky orange fox. As his name implies, Swiper steals or attempts to steal key items that help Dora on her adventures. Clever as he is, Swiper never manages to take Dora completely by surprise; an ominous... read more

Since it's a preschool show, he always loses or throws them in an easy vicinity, but his plans are definitely mean.

For trying to steal Dora's stuff, even though everyone wants Dora to die.

Swiper is number one in this list, he is super mean.

13 Bianca DuPree - Beverly Hills Teens
14 Nelson Muntz - The Simpsons Nelson Mandela Muntz is a fictional character and the lead school bully from the animated TV series The Simpsons.

He is a school bully but in some episodes he is sort of friendly with others for some reason. He went with Bart when they went on a road trip.

15 Heather - Total Drama Heather was a camper and the main antagonist of Total Drama Island as a member of the Screaming Gophers. She later returned as a cast member in Total Drama Action on the Screaming Gaffers, and was one of the finalists in Total Drama World Tour representing Team Amazon.

Everybody Hates Heather cause she's mean to Gwen and nasty towards Leshawna. She's the meanest nastiest of them all.

Heather is mean, but she truly makes the show.

16 Angelica Pickles - Rugrats Angelica Pickles is a cartoon character who appears in the Nickelodeon shows Rugrats, All Grown Up!, and Rugrats Pre-School Daze, and is among one of the series' original characters.
17 Lori Loud - The Loud House Lori Loud is a fictional character from The Loud House and the oldest child of the Loud Family as such she's bossy, hot tempered, and very strict she constantly enforces the fact to the others that she's the oldest, despite her bossy nature deep down she truly cares for her younger siblings even when... read more
18 Belson - Clarence
19 Nikki Wong - 6teen
20 Princess Morbucks - The Powerpuff Girls

She is mean to Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup and is very spoiled.

21 Chef Hatchet - Total Drama Island
22 Rick Sanchez - Rick and Morty Rick Sanchez is a fictional character from the American animated television series Rick and Morty, aired on Adult Swim.

The mean, evil professor deserves to get beaten up by Morty.

Rick may be a genius, but he's a very grouchy scientist.

23 Mr. Mean - Mr Men
24 Mr. Cat - Kaeloo

While his meanness is quite amusing, it is pretty harsh in hindsight. Kaeloo tries to be nice to him, he is extremely rude to her. Stumpy idolizes him, and he just makes fun of him. Quack Quack does nothing bad to him, he violently hurts him.

There was one episode where Mr. Cat tricked everyone else into thinking that they owed him money and then threatened to murder them (quite literally, with a gun) if they didn't pay him the money in 24 days.

In the episode "Let's Play Gangster Poker", Mr. Cat tricked Kaeloo and Quack Quack into thinking they owed him money and then threatened to shoot them both since they couldn't pay him. Enough said.

25 Lola Loud - The Loud House Lola Loud is a fictional character from The Loud House and the third youngest child of the Loud Family and Lana's younger twin sister, Lola is arrogant, smart mouthed, spoiled, and is a tattle-tale, like Lori despite her selfish behavior deep down she's compassionate, she shares a room with her twin... read more
