Bands around the 60s - 90s that are honestly pretty mediocre, not necessarily terrible, but not great either. I'm not including bands from the 2000s, 2010s or 50s for this list.

Softy poppy band, very overrated.

Softy, simple songs for kids. They aren't good musicians, Ringo was a very bad drum player (read the interview with Quincy Jones 7th February 2018), McCartney was not a good bass player also. They wrote very simple song, no need mush singing skills to sing them.

I always found the Mamas and the Papas annoying

I wish The Mamas and the Papas never happened because Cass Elliot never existed at all. The band was actually called the New Journeymen because it only had John Phillips, Denny Doherty, and Michelle Phillips because they felt that Cass’ appearance disqualified her from being a wicked witch. John, Denny, and Michelle were eventually joined by Jill Gibson, Cass Elliot’s replacement
