Top 10 Most Memorable Movie Villains of All Time
The Top Ten
An icon in film. He's a perfectly developed villain in the original trilogy of Star Wars. Darth Vader is a very quotable and instantly-recognizable character, he has lots of memorable moments especially the "I Am Your Father" scene in The Empire Strikes Back. There's nothing to hate about him! Well except his appearance in the prequels, but lets not talk about that, we're talking about original trilogy Vader! - PeeledBanana
Before even watching the Star Wars movie series, I've always heard of the name Darth Vader. He should definitely be number one. - TheFourthWorld
So memorable that even people who aren't fans of Star Wars are familiar with him. - Randomator
Besides Vader, Norman, Anton, and Hannibal this list is weak.
This has got to be one of the best acting performances I've ever seen in any film. People doubted Heath Ledger as first, but then he soon completely blew them all away with this performances from that face to that maniacal laugh. He has some of his best quotes in this film like "Why so serious? " and "Let's put a smile on that face! ". - PeeledBanana
When I watch the Joker in The Dark Knight, I don't see an actor anywhere. Heath Ledger just disappears into the role and just becomes the Joker. Definitely one of the greatest acting performances ever. - phillysports
And an even better cartoon villain - 445956
O for overrated - RandomGuy1234
The most recent movie villain on this list unless you count him from the 1990 film but we're talking about the newer version of Pennywise or should I say, IT. IT was one of the best horror films we got this year! The most memorable thing about IT was Pennywise, he is a very VERY interesting character if you look into his origins online, turns out that the clown is not it's true form and Pennywise isn't IT's name, IT is simply IT. - PeeledBanana
The new one was better, and he was the best as a book villain - 445956
The dancing clown
bet he would trip over - RandomGuy1234
Best Disney villain for sure! He is one evil bastard. He killed his own BROTHER and attempted to kill his nephew... TWICE! One of his most memorable lines from the movie was "Long live the king" which was when he was about to throw Mufasa off the cliff. - PeeledBanana
No, he is not the best.
We knew you'd come, TLK hater - 445956
TLK and all of it's characters are trash.
No, I would never have ***. Stop saying lies like that.
Also, stop baaawwwing over TLK haters expressing their opinions. They don't ruin any lists. If anything, TLK fans ruin every list by adding TLK to every positive list ever, whereas TLK haters are the ones who tell the truth.
TLK's characters are not good characters, stop adding them to positive lists.
TLK is not a good movie, stop adding it to every positive list you see.
Stop treating TLK like it's the best animated movie, the best this, the best that, etc. It is FAR from being the best, so hush.
Why the movie is so awful, if you ask? Well...
TLK is a lame ripoff of an earlier work and not original at all.
It portrays various wildlife the wrong way. Even if fictional.
The character designs are terrible.
It is full of cliches.
It is fascist propaganda. It is a bad thing.
It glorifies murder of a family member. Not acceptable. Even if ...more

A teenage girl - RandomGuy1234
The scariest non-horror movie villain, he's an assassin, deadly murderer. From the picture, he just looks like some random middle-aged guy, but watch the movie, he's crazy. - PeeledBanana
Why is he depressed? - RandomGuy1234
Yup, the scariest non-horro movie villain - 445956

Manure! I HATE Manure! - TheFourthWorld
I think she should be higher. - TheFourthWorld
Probably the scariest concept in a horror movie. - Cyri
Lord Shen is one of the best film villains of all time. His character design is flawless, his dialogue is incredibly well-written, and his character arc is one of the best "slowly going insane" arcs I've ever seen. And in case you're a really picky film fan, he's voiced to cunning perfection by Oscar winner Gary Oldman. Everything about Shen is perfect. Just...standing ovation to you, DreamWorks. I hope you make more villains like this in future films.
Lord Shen is the main antagonist in the DreamWorks film Kung Fu Panda 2. He is voiced by Gary Oldman.
A great monster from a great movie, specifically the Universal version. (And don't say he doesn't count because he's from a book. If Joker and Loki count, then the monster counts.)
Gentlemen, it's come to my attention that a breakaway Russian republic, Kreplachistan, is about to transfer a nuclear warhead to the United Nations in a few days. Here's the plan. We get the warhead, and we hold the world ransom for...ONE MILLION DOLLARS!
