Cryptopsy is the heaviest Canadian export - brutal technical death metal. They are the metal pride of my home city and one of Canada's most acclaimed metal bands.

Basically a thrash band. Subgenres - Technical/progressive thrash metal, Thrash metal, Speed metal, Crossover thrash. Some of their songs sound like Thrash meets Pink Floyd and I find it interesting.
