I love Avenged Sevenfold there amazing live!
These guys are full of hits, with nearly every album worth the money. Great members, with Gates being the best 21st century guitarist, period, and M. Shadows being arguably the best 21st century vocalist. The Rev was one of the most talented drummers as well, who added diversity to their music.
This is my favorite band!
A7X Definitely. They've gone through hard times and still managed to keep the band together w/ the exception of Rev. Still, my favorite is S. Gates. I've been listening to this band since 2010, (i'm only 15, gimme a break for being a late-comer) and I still remember the first song I heard, it was Buried Alive and I watched it w/ my aunt just to see the headbanging skeletons in the video. Lol, loved them ever since.

It obviously goes by inconspicuous, but Linkin Park do also have metal/ hard rock songs. Which I'm sure the average joe would have no idea of such. And must be the reason one can not understand the perception as to why people call it "metal".
Linkin Parks hard rock/metal songs are overshadowed by their pop ones. But trust me. They still make killer hard rock/ metal tracks
What kind of dopey teenager classifies this hard rock or metal?!?!? Lmao
