The Contenders: Page 10

181 John Haughm
182 Daniel Heiman Daniel Heiman

Best singer I've ever heard. Listen to any "lost horizon" song. I dare anyone on this list to copy what he could do

183 Josh Middleton

Not enough people have heard of Sylosis.
Josh not only has a great singing voice and growl he is also an amazing guitarist, if you want any proof just listen to Empyreal.

184 Ralf Scheepers Ralf Scheepers Ralf Scheepers is the vocalist for German heavy metal band Primal Fear. He has a relatively high-pitched tenor-esque singing voice and sometimes uses a shriek reminiscent of Judas Priest's Rob Halford, although it is his baritone lows which give him a near four-octave range in the modal register.

Listen to Primal Fear. No explanation needed.

185 Ray Alder

Wow... I was amazed to see James Lebrie of Dream Theater so low on the list, but to find out that Ray Alder of Fates Warning isn't even on here yet? That's just not right. In the early days he had an incredible voice with a mind blowing upper range, look up Static Acts or Silent Cries as just two examples. As time went on his voice matured to sound even better, if not as high. Check out One thousands fires, river wide ocean deep, simple human... Or anything from A Pleasant Shade of Grey or FWX. I'm sure I've forgotten some other great examples. Someone back me up here!
