43 David Draiman David Draiman David Michael Draiman is an American songwriter and the vocalist for the band Disturbed as well as for the band Device.

Definitely the most underrated vocalists on this list... He has the perfect voice for metal... Unlike most on this list... He actually sings instead of screams... I mean I'm all for screaming (i love all types of rock and metal.. Now calm down old school metal fans who can't accept change) David can do more than that... He can still sounds badass while singing... Just like dio did... He deserves to be at least top 5

Disturbed is all about Draiman's vocals. His vocal sound gives creeps for even most metal singers and it's stunning to hear him first sing song like "Asylum" and right after "Darkness". Beautiful, just beautiful!

What the hell happening in here? I can't believe it man. David draiman AT O 20? Why? He should be on top 5(AT LEAST)... Do some vote... For Voice of metal. His voice range is unbelievable. Listen to Asylum. The animal. Sons of plunder. Darkness. The night... Water boiling when he SINGING!

Very consistent, excellent LIVE! Amazing low range

44 Matt Tuck - Bullet for My Valetine

The guy mentioned the comment below.
I have the same thing to say...
He can play guitar, sings, scream, and even can growl...
After him randy blythe is a very impressive vocalist.

I don't get why Matt Tuck is 17 he should at least be in the top three section, he inspired me to be the vocalist I am now (screaming)

45 Mike Patton Mike Patton Michael Allan "Mike" Patton is an American singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, film composer, producer, and actor, best known as the lead singer of the alternative metal band Faith No More.

Patton has done a lot of things in all kinds of genres. But I can't remember anything anyone ever called Heavy Metal or Hard Rock.
However he is the best vocalist on earth. And if he ever starts singing in a Heavy Metal or Hard Rock Band he will top them all. So I vote for him.

Breaks my heart that he isn't even on this list yet, should be #10 minimum

46 Klaus Meine Klaus Meine

This list has to be more than just voice.. Agree with the top 3, Dio, Dickinson, and Halford, but Klaus should be top 5 easy! So much variety and so much power. Listen to the Scops live...huge voice. #51 is an embarrassment.. DLR better? Ozzy? Analyze your list...

Klaus meine voice is very Broad.. It covers all range... He should be in the number 1 spot...

In my opinion the best metal singer ever, without a doubt!

The best ever period

I am ashamed to know that I have to add his name. After 72 people.

Michael has no comparison, he is a god.. Pretty sure he sold his soul to be able to write the songs for Opeth and to vocally do what he does O. O

To Growl and sing melodiously as well... Deal struck with the devil for sure! Others are no where close

52 Russell Allen Russell Allen

This man seriously deserves to be much higher. How many other vocalists on this list have a four octave vocal range and amazing clean and rough tones? Listen to the Accolade to get a taste of why Russell should be far, far higher than 48. He may not be one of the most famous, but is undoubtedly one of the best.

He's not one of the best. HE IS THE BEST.

He's one of the best ten.
But no one knows him.

55 Miljenko Matijevic Miljenko Matijevic

Great vocalist from steelheart, a very underrated band! He has a solid voice, and EXCELLENT high range! Should be at least top 15

He is THE BEST. I've never heard a vocalist with his range or amazing voice. Honestly if Steelheart were more famous, you would see him at the top. Mili is a singing god, please have a listen and you will understand what I mean

The greatest vocalist on the face of the earth

I always thought Sammy Hagar was the best singer I'd ever heard til I hear Mili wow what a powerhouse voice and range out of this world hits G#5 on a regular basis too bad that accident shortened Steelhearts rise who knows what they could have done... but still today he is still kickin ass and rocking hard and in his mind 50s still can hit those high notes unlike a lot of others
