Proof:
Paul Di'Anno & Jeriko - Symphony Of Destruction (Tribute To Megadeth)

The best possible singer for Megadeth?

The Symphony of Destruction cover is great.

2 Hansi Kürsch - Dio Hansi Kürsch, born Hans Jürgen Kürsch, is the lead singer, lyricist, co-composer and bassist for German power metal band Blind Guardian . Blind Guardian - Don't Talk To Strangers (Dio cover).
I think Dio would be proud.

There's an equally good cover of this song by Jorn and I hesitated a lot but I decided that in general Hansi would sound better than Jorn in Dio's band.
First,
Hansi's voice is closer to Dio's voice naturally. In fact, Hansi's voice is the closest possible to Dio's voice: almost same range and as a bonus - placed in absolutely same register.
Second,
Hansi and Dio have vulnerability in their voices which moves a lot and they used it when needed. This vulnerability is not present very much in Jorn's voice.
Example: the way Hansi sings the line "Drive you insane'; the beginning of the song and many times later.

3 Ralf Scheepers - Judas Priest Ralf Scheepers is the vocalist for German heavy metal band Primal Fear. He has a relatively high-pitched tenor-esque singing voice and sometimes uses a shriek reminiscent of Judas Priest's Rob Halford, although it is his baritone lows which give him a near four-octave range in the modal register.

Proof - check out these Judas Priest covers:
Scheepers - Before The Dawn (solo album, 2011)
Primal Fear - Metal Gods.

4 Bruce Dickinson - Judas Prest Paul Bruce Dickinson, known professionally as Bruce Dickinson, (born 7 August 1958) is an English musician, airline pilot, and broadcaster. I would be happy with that.

6 Tobias Sammet - Iron Maiden Tobias Sammet is a German metal musician, best known as the vocalist and primary songwriter of the power metal band Edguy, as well as the founder, main singer and bassist of the metal opera Avantasia.

Tobi's voice and singing style always remind me of Bruce Dickinson.
Check out: Edguy - Nailed To The Wheel, Sacrifice.

Tobias Sammet adores Bruce Dickinson and Iron Maiden in general.
In 2014 Tobi even wrote a song (I love the lyrics):

"Vienna has got Mozart
Chopin they had in Paris (kind of)
The Catholics got the Pope
England's got the Beatles
And even more so:
England's got Steve Harris

England's got Steve Harris
And if that wasn't enough for you
England's got Bruce Dickinson
And on top of it - the other ones
In Iron Maiden too, yes it's true" (Edguy - England, 2014, bonus track).

7 Tom Araya - Kreator Tomás Enrique "Tom" Araya Díaz is a Chilean American musician, best known as the bassist and vocalist of the American thrash metal band Slayer.
8 Jorn - Deep Purple

Proof :
Jorn - Perfect Strangers (Deep Purple cover) - Gillan song
Jorn - Burn (Deep Purple cover) - Coverdale song

He can sing both Gillan and Coverdale songs - so he'd be the universal Deep Purple singer.

9 Rob Halford - Iron Maiden Robert John Arthur "Rob" Halford is an English singer and songwriter, who is best known as the lead vocalist for the Grammy Award-winning heavy metal band Judas Priest and famed for his powerful wide ranging operatic voice.

I can't imagine him singing Hallowed Be Thy Name.

10 Hansi Kürsch - Cream Hansi Kürsch, born Hans Jürgen Kürsch, is the lead singer, lyricist, co-composer and bassist for German power metal band Blind Guardian . Heavily influenced by Freddie Mercury, he creates a huge choir effect by overdubbing his own voice multiple times in complex, overlapping vocal harmonies. Hansi Kürsch is one of the singers who is able to sing Led Zep songs. I'm sure he can also handle the epic Led Zep stuff because Blind Guardian is even more epic and more complex.

The best cover of this song.
