Top 10 Metal Songs to Use as a Ringtone

For ringtones I prefer songs with long instrumental sections, usually with riffs I love, but I keep in mind that it's a ringtone - I wouldn't put every song I like because some songs may disturb people around me.
The Top Ten
1 The Pursuit of Vikings - Amon Amarth

This riff is amazing (it's on the song sample but I mean the same riff from the intro, with no vocals).

2 For Whom the Bell Tolls - Metallica

With the bass intro of course.

3 Raining Blood - Slayer
4 And Plague Flowers the Kaleidoscope - Ne Obliviscaris

The intro is perfect for that - I would use the part you hear on the sample

Plenty to choose from

5 Wheel of Time - Blind Guardian

There are many great instrumental sections in this song to choose from.

6 The Trooper - Iron Maiden

The intro riff sounds awesome.

7 Alison Hell - Annihilator

The intro - it's long and has several awesome riffs.

8 Ride the Lightning - Metallica
9 Master of Puppets - Metallica
10 Peace Sells - Megadeth
The Contenders
11 Seek and Destroy - Metallica
12 Enter Sandman - Metallica

I would go with the intro.

13 The Day that Never Comes - Metallica
14 I Am - Theocracy
15 Walk - Pantera

I actually knew a guy once who had "Walk" as his ringtone. It works really well.

16 Septuagint - Obscura

Beautiful. Just play the sample

17 Akroasis - Obscura

I would use the instrumental part you hear on the sample

18 Highway Star - Deep Purple

Intro and maybe the solo

19 Tattered Banners and Bloody Flags - Amon Amarth
20 Shut Your Mouth - Pain
21 War Pigs - Black Sabbath

The intro works really well as a ringtone.

22 Bleed - Meshuggah
23 I'm Broken - Pantera
24 Vain Glory Opera - Edguy

The keyboards intro is pretty cool and fitting

25 Coat of Arms - Sabaton

The opening synth is nice and mellow which means you don't really hear it until the guitars kick in and no-one in the room expects it.
