Top Ten Minecraft Blocks

The Top Ten

1 Command Block

Only bad thing is once when I accidentally put kill on repeat made my world unplayable I had to delete it witch sucked

I also think it's the best block in the game, but sadly I play on PS4

Do this command for you to hate diamonds /summon item: diamond @e repeat. Then you will really love diamonds after that

Fun block, but I can only use it on my java edition minecraft, if ps4 gets bedrock then I could use it on my ps4 yoo

2 Diamond Block

The diamond block is great for if u have diamonds that take too much space in a chest. I would say only use it for the necessary items and then keep a few. Definitely not for building with

FACE. PALM. If you think this is a good block for building houses, then you must re-evaluate your live choices. It bloody looks like crap.

*gags* no, the diamond block is a waste of diamonds. People who build houses out of diamond, gold, emerald and iron blocks are retarded.

Well my favorite color is blue and it looks so cool

3 TNT

I love TNT because I love exploding everything and even blow my sister's house.

I love blowing stuff up especially in creative mode when I need to get rid of something.

Just die please haha no don't actually I love you and you are special

I love blowing up stuff laugh out loud

4 Obsidian

This is my favourite block of all time, it's much stronger than a diamond block and can be made into a nether portal. Jack

You can create the nether portal with it...

Can help craft awesome stuff like an enchantment table and nether portal, and is so blast resistant.

Is super strong other then bedrock

5 Enchanting Table

If we did not have enchanted armor and things like that, we would not be protected enough

I have three. Always kept separately and at least one in secret at all times, in case my siblings try to destroy my empire.

I really really love enchanting

The most important block in Minecraft

6 Iron Block

Just a way of storage, or in other cases like for beacons or just a show of wealth

They look nice for modern theme, especially labs, walls and vaults. My vault is made out of iron.

I love iron and always try to find some as it is quite common in caves even when you step in it you find it

I love iron since how easy it is to find and easy to mine and how good it is

ITS AWESOME!

7 Wood

Honestly, wood is the MOST essential block in minecraft, you use it for many simple things like creating a crafting bench, making planks, and building your house. You also use it for things like making charcoal, making your own trees, and of course decoration. Hands down my FAVOURITE block.

How do you beat Minecraft without wood? It should be number 1 because you can beat Minecraft without command blocks, you done need diamonds to win and you certantly don’t need tnt to win. 5 and 6 are blocks to that you need

Without it minecraft wouldn't exist. Only if you are playing survival though.

Without wood Minecraft is totally ruined you can't mine and craft

8 Beacons

OMG. Seriously?
Beacons are the worst items in existence. There's no such thing as a good beacon, because its costs so much that you could never get a fully-charged beacon in survival.
First, you need three diamonds to get the obsidian it needed (only a diamond pickaxe can break obsidian), and enough luck to find a Nether fortress thus kill enough wither skeletons to get three wither skulls. Then you need to risk your life more than ten times to kill the Wither and get the Nether star. You'll need at least 81 iron ingots (iron's the cheapest for the build-up of a beacon) to create a build-up stand for the beacon, and you'll need 3867 iron ingots to create fully-charged beacon. Are you really willing to risk so much iron (sixty and a half stacks) just t create ONE beacon? Furthermore, the beacon's ranged. So if you leave its radius, all your sixty stacks of iron's going to serve no use. Unless you're in creative and making some decor, beacons are almost as useless as rotten flesh ...more

In survival:

1. Nether Portal
2. Nether Fortress
3. Get 3 Skulls from Wither skeletons
4. Get Soul sand
5. Summon the Wither
6. Defeat it and get the nether star

It's a good light and it can help you build faster (haste).

Minecraft Cay

9 Gold Block

Watch Skydoesminecraft, it's his favorite block. Spoil alert he calls it BUTTER!

Gold pickaxe breaking more faster than diamond but have durability lower than diamond

One of the worst blocks for building ever. Just plain ugly!

It not worth to much

10 Dragon Egg

A unique trophy included in the game after defeating the "final boss" the ender dragon. I personally like to use them as lamp foundations, wish they were included in the creative inventory though instead of having to travel to the end to retrieve it every time you create a new world.

Kept as a trophy. Wish it were functional, though. I could use a pet ender dragon.

This is THE rarest block ever! Literally, it is the only block in vanilla Minecraft that there can only be one of legitimately, no matter how far you travel!

It's awesome I collect them all day everyday u just need a lever and sticky piston once u defeat the endear dragon

The Newcomers

? Polished Blackstone Bricks

The Contenders

11 Dirt

Dirt is the greatest block in Minecraft. It supports most forms of life, wood, grass, trees, animals, mycelium, etc. If dirt did not exist, searching for food would be much harder, and the player would be nearly unable to move on from basic survival.

AMAAAZING

Dirt can take like infinite hits from a dimoad sword in CREATIVE MODE. (No joke, it actually can).

People think dirt is bad for houses cause of the TEXTURE.

I would never get tired staring at dirt all day.

12 Wooden Planks

Great for building a structure for your first night. Plus easy to craft

Easy to get good to build with

Couldn't get by without it.

The best building block ever!

13 Emerald Block

Unlike other blocks which usually, when you find one, you find a lot of them, emerald only occurs by itself on most occasions therefore it is by far the rarest.

Looks horrible, hardly any uses for building

Good for villagers because they like emeralds. But I don't know why...

Rarest block in Minecraft

14 Bedrock

I like bedrock because I turn myself in creative and turn my brother into survival and trap him in it

Without this block when your mining in a hole and you mine 1 stone and you just fall in the void.

You can trap people in command block they can not be broken

You can only break it in creative

15 Anvil Anvil are a Canadian heavy metal band from Toronto, Ontario, formed in 1978. The band consists of Steve "Lips" Kudlow, Robb Reiner and Chris Robertson.

Did it automatically add that picture? That's hilarious

Its used for traps and naming and enchanting armor and tools with books

I think you've got the wrong picture there.

I like naming things with the anvil

16 Nether Brick

Has the most different variations in shape of any block, being able to create full blocks, stairs, slabs, walls, and fences. Unfortunately it doesn't have a fence gate. Not to mention red nether bricks as well.

A wonderful "building material": meaning you can make slabs and stairs out of this great material, too!

But you can troll incredible

17 Cake

I built a whole farm just to make cake and I'm making a pillow factory to and I'm able to make like over 16 cakes this has awesomeness written all over it!

Cooked chicken and cookies are my favorite food in Minecraft + also steak and cake lol!

M cake is the best food in Minecraft

No its not a lie cake is awesome

18 Crafting Table

If we did not have a crafting table, We would not get pickaxes, hoes, and a crafting table!

"Also one of the main blocks of minecraft with out it Minecraft would be only Mine"

This is the centre of Minecraft... You can't do anything without it

Without crafting tables, you would just aimlessly walk about, not collecting anything because you wouldn't have a pick axe. Therefore all you would do go random places, just getting gravel, sand, and dirt.

19 Glazed Terracotta

awesome for decoration , it pops almost as much as my lip gloss

yes

It’s pretty and a good way to decorate

20 Hardened Clay

Great Building block, It is so smooth and comes in a variety of colors, goes great with almost any build!

Especially with cyan stained clay. It is so great for modern themes.

For what?

NEVER HERD OF IT SO IT MUST BE GOT

21 Pressure Plate

I don't think this should be on the top ten

My uncle is going to beat me

Uh...

Me neither

22 Redstone Block

This handy for some things I used it before to active a light with a sticky piston, with a daylight senior to active lights at night when the daylight senior deactivated sticky piston at night, this was before I knew how to set a daylight senior to sence darkness and send a redstone signal at night

The most useful block in minecraft you can make t flip flops

I just like redstone I'm FED X gaming!

It just looks cool!?!?

23 Monster Spawners

I like to make traps, and they can spawn in an infinite amount ov stuff. pigs will take over!

Trolling people and destroying their bases

24 Cobblestone

Probably the most common and useful building block out there

Great for building homes and even entire villages also makes pretty durable tools!

Cobblestone is cheap, renewable, useful, blast resistant, flame resistant, and pretty-able all at the same time! What's not to love?

Good for building and crafting.

25 Vines

Sweet blocks! They can be used as ladders if you want a natural-looking house. Plus skeletons and other mobs can't see through them.
