Paramore is an American rock band from Franklin, Tennessee, formed in 2004. The band currently consists of lead vocalist Hayley Williams and guitarist Taylor York.
I never understood what was so "emo" about Paramore, yeah some of their songs sound depressing and they were popular in the emo era... besides of that there wasn't anything emo about them, also thanks to the fact that people think they are emo is the main reason why people hate them - Pato_cargo

This and Paramore were two very popular groups in the emo era, but just like Paramore, I never found anything emo about this band besides Jared Leto look, they sound is more alternative rock and pop rather emo - Pato_cargo
