Top 10 Modern Rock Singers With Raspy Voices

Basically those guys in Modern Rock, that can wail their lungs out. The only singers I might not include for this list are: Tyler Conolly and Billie Joe Armstrong. Billie because he's not really a screaming rocker. Tyler cause eh not really sure if his voice is raspy. Genres allowed for this list:All sub genres of Rock and Metal as along as the singer has a raspy voice.

I've never heard a man have a more raspier than Adam himself only person who comes close in my opinion is Corey Taylor.

I think harry styles has one of the most underrated raspy voices people don't even give him a chance to prove himself but if you listen to his rock songs like kiwi and only angel youll see it for yourself that he can sing

Even as a metalhead I have to admit his solo stuff is pretty dope.. at least vocally

He's generally raspy both studio wise and live, he can sure as hell wail and when he does he succeeds.

13 Matt Walst Matt Walst born December 28th 1982, is a Canadian songwriter/singer that formed the alternative rock band My Darkest Days in 2005. That band got signed by Chad Kroger in 2010 and they released two albums. Members of the band left and after Adam Gontier left Three Days Grace Matt was chosen to replace him leaving My Darkest Days to fade away. He's brothers with Three Days Grace bass player Brad Walst.

While his voice isn't as raspy live anymore, it's still raspy studio album wise. And before 2013, his voice was quite raspy.

He can definitely be raspy at times especially with songs like "Monster", "Not Gonna Die", "Hero" etc. which is rather impressive for a Christian singer.

Very underrated vocally. Decently wide range as well as havingredients very grungy/raspy vocals, while hitting higher notes. Very difficult thing to do. He should definitely get some credit for that.

How is this God-Tier of a singer not on this list? His natural raspy and powerful voice is unmatched. He may have gone downhill After 94' but In his early years, he was a force to be reckoned with. Even Corey Taylor looks up to staley as a higher power vocal influence.
