After seeing how superstitious Ichabod is after he spills the salt then proceeds to toss it over his shoulder Bram Bone decides to tell everyone the tale of the headless horseman and the encounter he had with him as he continues to terrify Ichabod who grows more and more tense.
After Toad is accused of stealing a motor car and is put on trial, Toad claims he traded the deed to Toad Hall for the motor car of course no one belives him so he calls upon Mr. Winkie the bar owner who was there when he made the trade to testify but Winkie instead states that Toad tried to sell him a stolen motor car which stuns everyone in the courtroom as Toad is found guilty and is taken away.
