Best Moments of Specific Songs

The Best Moments from music, an amazing part from any song that rises above music and becomes powerful and timeless art.
The Top Ten
1 The Gates of Delirium - Yes (Soon/Ending)

To me, this is the pinnacle of music. Every time I hear the ending of this song I am transported to a different place and time. It ceases to be just music, and it becomes an experience unto itself.

2 A Day in the Life - The Beatles (Symphony Build Up/Ending)
3 One - Metallica (The "Machine Gun" Part + Solo)

The "Machine Gun" Part is the intense instrumental part before and during the lines that begin with "Darkness imprisoning me".
The "Machine Gun" Part isn't an official term - fans use this description but if you hear that part you will understand why.

4 Starless - King Crimson (Ending)

Every single moment of this song is significantly amazing.

5 Highway Star - Deep Purple (Guitar Solo + Intro Scream)
6 The Chain - Fleetwood Mac (Bass Bridge)
7 Locomotive Breath - Jethro Tull (Intro)
8 And Plague Flowers the Kaleidoscope - Ne Obliviscaris (Intro + Build Up)

Because the intro is very long, the song sample features part of it - the violin and drums are awesome.

9 Close to the Edge - Yes (I Get Up)

Glad to see this on here. That part is beautiful. Especially when the pipe organ comes in.

10 Intra Venus - Ne Obliviscaris (Dueling Solos of Guitar and Violin + Fretless Bass Solo)
The Contenders
11 Grand Parade - Blind Guardian (Intensity Build Up 6:25-7:40)
12 Free Bird - Lynyrd Skynyrd (Solo)

Yes!

13 Lateralus - Tool (With My Feet...)
14 Heaven Denies - Demons & Wizards (Chanting in the Outro)

Gorgeous Gregorian chanting. It's even more impressive if you know that all multi-layered vocal tracks with the beautiful overlapping harmonies were sung by one person only - the lead singer. There's no actual choir. Hands down. A vocal god right here.

15 Hallowed Be Thy Name - Iron Maiden (Intro)

Vocals in the intro are really impressive - great long sustains and a masterful scream.

16 Valhalla - Blind Guardian (Chorus + Riff)

At a live show the crowd sang the chorus for about 4 minutes and didn't want to stop.
"Valhalla - Deliverance
Why've you ever forgotten me"

17 Foreplay / Long Time - Boston (Transition/Mute Guitar Part)
18 Nailed to the Wheel - Edguy (Vocals to the Intro and the Riff to the Chorus)

Play the sample to hear part of the impressive vocals to the Intro

19 Bohemian Rhapsody - Queen (Intro)
20 Stairway to Heaven - Led Zeppelin (As We Wind on Down the Road. To Be a Rock and Not a Roll)

The whole song is perfect. End of discussion

21 In the Air Tonight - Phil Collins (Drums + Chorus)
22 Nothing Else Matters - Metallica (Guitar Solo)

My favourite part of ANY song.

23 November Rain - Guns N' Roses (Last Solo + Outro)
24 Rap God - Eminem (Fast Rap)
25 If Today Was Your Last Day - Nickelback (Bridge)
