The Grand Canyon in Arizona is a natural formation distinguished by layered bands of red rock, revealing millions of years of geological history in cross-section. Vast in scale, the canyon averages 10 miles across and a mile deep along its 277-mile length. Much of the area is a national park, with Colorado River white-water rapids and sweeping vistas. I have been here plenty of times, and it is very beautiful, sometimes a bit scary when you're close to the edge but it is a wonderful place to visit. :)
If you ever visit, you should do the Skywalk, wonderful experience.

The view is incredible and it attracts millions of visitors a year making it the 9th biggest tourist attraction worldwide. It is also very clean due to the lack of air, water and noise pollution and must be seen to be believed in the heart of the famous Canadian city of Vancouver with its rain forest climate, beautiful mountains and incredible parks that are very environmentally friendly and significantly improve mental health and overall quality of life.
