Fremont weather is like texas but the hills in the east are stunning

Obviously California is the most beautiful state on the planet. Always sunny, nice weather and nice place to be.

California is beautiful, but mostly artificially. Los Angeles, Burbank, San Francisco, Redding, and San Diego are just some of the great towns in California. The Golden State is definitely a top contender for the best in the Union, so YAY!

Just go to Venice Beach, the sunset is beautiful there. I even took a picture on my phone.

Oregon Oregon is a state in the Pacific Northwest region of the United States. Oregon is bordered on the west by the Pacific Ocean, on the north by Washington, on the south by California, on the east by Idaho, and on the southeast by Nevada.

Oregon is the best state in overall majesticnest. From the coast and the dunes to the deserts and mountains. Oregon is epic and think is better than Utah. I feel like this place should have more national parks though. Like here are some invented national parks that I think should be created: Columbia river islands national park, Columbia river estuary national park and Oregon basin national park. To be honest, I think crater lake is not a good national park. The lake is the deepest in the country but it is dead. There are zero native fish to the lake. Not many people visit this national park compared to Zion and Grand Canyon. I think Columbia river islands would be amazing. Like in the Columbia river there are those islands and they should be protected. Well overall Oregon should be number one and it is an amazing state. #columbia river islands national park!

I think Oregon is more beautiful than California, Florida and Arizona.

Why and how is California #1 and ahead of oregon

Portland has a great skyline

Hawaii Hawaii is the 50th and most recent state of the United States of America, receiving statehood on August 21, 1959.

It's simply magical. The views are breathtaking. Has everything life has to offer. So much culture and love for nature

Is this a joke? Hawaii is easily #1, with California at #2. After that I would maybe say Alaska.

beautiful

WOW Hawaiis not number 1.? It's ssooso beautiful that says enough

Washington Washington is a state in the Pacific Northwest region of the United States located north of Oregon, west of Idaho, and south of the Canadian province of British Columbia on the coast of the Pacific Ocean. It is the only state named after a president.

You didn't mention the Olympic mountain range, and beautiful Mount Rainier.

The best forests in the country unparalleled dramatic coastlines the cascade mountains are breathtaking rain forests islands marine mammals nice people too!

Washington State should be number 1 on this list

Breath-taking beauty which includes the awe-inspiring green forests, spectacular mountains, the Puget Sound is the home of the mighty Orca whales. The flowers are bountiful, colorful and some aromatic. The national parks, waterfalls, hiking trails all are awesome. We love our
wild life and our pets. Our weather is free from hurricanes, deadly tornadoes and long cold winters. Washington state is gorgeous.

Montana Montana is a state in the Western region of the United States. The state's name is derived from the Spanish word montaña.

The most gorgeous US state by FAR. Just search up pictures of Montana. The scenery unbelievable. It's very mountainous and is comprised of many gorgeous lakes and meadows. Also, there's a ton of wildlife such as black bears, bison, bobcats, gray wolves, fox, deer, sheep, and much more. Montana is seriously a dream.

The reason why Montana is not number #1 is because most people are voting for their own state, California looks like hell on Earth, I don't understand how they are first place.

Just about every inch of montana is forest, lakes, or mountains.

Montana is not BUTIAFUL

Alaska Alaska is a U.S. state situated in the northwest extremity of the Americas. The Canadian administrative divisions of British Columbia and Yukon border the state to the east; it has a maritime border with Russia to the west across the Bering Strait.

We have 17 out of the top 20 tallest mountains in America, over half of the worlds glaciers, more coastline than the rest of the US combined, we have North America’s largest oil field, we have America’s two largest forests, we have no plants that are poisonous to the touch, etc.

Alaska has nmany beautiful glaciers, and a lot of wildlife, and even seven national parks!

Colorado Colorado is a state in the United States encompassing most of the Southern Rocky Mountains as well as the northeastern portion of the Colorado Plateau and the western edge of the Great Plains.

Colorado should be #1 on every list. It's like California, Montana, Utah and Oregon combined, but better.

With so much to offer to anyone who wishes to explore, Colorado is the most diverse state when it comes to landscapes. There is no reason why it shouldn't be #1 on every list.

Colorado is so beautiful with the mountains and The Garden of the Gods. Should definitely be number 1

Colorado is a breathtaking state with mountains every where, cool winters warm summers happen! Deserves #1

Arizona Arizona is a U.S. state in the southwestern region of the United States. It is also part of the Western and the Mountain states.

Arizona is amazing the grand canyon, desserts, and other stuff is amazing!

It has a lot of pretty landscaping

Grand Canyon State

The Grand Canyon, Antellope Canyon, Desserts, Eastern Mountains, Meteor Crater, Sedona, Phoenix...

Florida Florida is a state located in the southeastern region of the United States. Florida is the southeasternmost U.S. state, with the Atlantic on one side and the Gulf of Mexico on the other.

It's way too humid sometimes, old slow drivers rule the roads, and it has bipolar weather.

BUT it has such gorgeous beaches, the sand is white, the water is blue, the night life is stunning, the lights are bright, the music pumps to the rhythm of your heart, you feel the breeze and the sun hit you most of the day, it's just such gorgeous scenery. So much variety.

Florida > New York/Massachusetts

It's a great place with beautiful beaches and warm climate

Louisiana

Utah Utah is a state in the western United States. It became the 45th state admitted to the Union on January 4, 1896. Utah is the 13th-largest, the 31st-most populous, and the 10th-least-densely populated of the 50 United States.

I live in Oregon, and I think Utah should be #1. It’s out of this world!

Utah is THE most beautiful state.

Its very scenic.

Utah is uber underrated and diverse, ranging from palms and red rocks in the south west, to some of the best skiing and impressive mountain ranges on earth to the north, to some of the most unearthly beautiful canyons, arches etc. in the desert all across the south.

The Contenders

Wyoming Wyoming is a state in the mountain region of the Western United States. The state is the tenth largest by area, but the least populous and the second least densely populated of the 50 United States.

I so dang love Wyoming. Should be on top three. Too bad I live in NC.

Cannot judge what this beautiful state has to offer by rushing through it on the InterState.
This state has to be explored off the beaten path to fully appreciate.

The Grand Teton National park is the most beautiful place I have ever seen

Wyoming is a very beautiful state, due to sparse population and large open spaces. Hell, Wyoming barely has more people than our nation's capital!

Tennessee Tennessee is a state located in the southeastern United States. Tennessee is the 36th largest and the 17th most populous of the 50 United States.

My home state, absolutely stunning mountains in the east. Just that part alone makes it one of the best!

Has anyone seen the Tennessee mountains before? Breathtaking!

Idaho Idaho is a state in the northwestern region of the United States. Idaho is the 14th largest, the 39th most populous, and the 7th least densely populated of the 50 United States.

Idaho should be above Wyoming, what an injustice

Maine

This is everything beautiful that Oregon has, except it's the entire state. Mean has more coast, exponentially more lighthouses and real winter.

Maine in fall winter spring and summer is beautiful

The forests in Maine are better than in Washington state.

Maine should secede to Canada!
Maine for 🇨🇦

Rhode Island > Massachusetts

Not so beautiful. Family Guy is set in this state. Family Guy is 💩.

Michigan

Why is Michigan placed so low? It's definitely one of the most beautiful states-- the prettiest I've seen and lived in.
At least it should be in the top 5.

We have beautiful lakes, beaches, historical forts, pine trees, sand dunes, ski resorts, definitive seasons, caves to explore, beautiful forests where deer run free, as well as awesome orchards and vineyards, to name a few,

Underrrated state! Michigan has so much natural beauty!

Georgia Georgia is a state located in the southeastern United States. It was established in 1732, the last of the original Thirteen Colonies.

Hate it. Boring.

Louisiana
Minnesota Minnesota is a state in the Midwestern United States. Minnesota was admitted as the 32nd state on May 11, 1858, created from the eastern half of the Minnesota Territory.
North Dakota North Dakota is the 39th state of the United States, having been admitted to the union on November 2, 1889.

North Dakota is beautiful and is definitely one of the best. It should be number 1 or No. 2

WHY IS THIS SO HIGH?!

Virginia Virginia, officially the Commonwealth of Virginia, is a state located in the South Atlantic region of the United States.
North Carolina North Carolina is a state in the southeastern region of the United States. The state borders South Carolina and Georgia to the south, Tennessee to the west, Virginia to the north, and the Atlantic Ocean to the east.

Come on, North Carolina's got everything you could want: incredible beaches with landmarks, such as the Cape Hatteras lighthouse, tallest in America, big cities such as Charlotte and Raleigh, and the highest mountains in the Eastern U.S.A, with breathtaking views from Blue Ridge Parkway. Should be at least in the top 10!
